I think it's just ducks and drakes. When the final lists get published tomorrow they might rejig it to show her in the middle? Either way I can't see Zarlie playing at FF a full game after attending 80% CBAs in Game 1 and Parker missing.

The language in Cam's announcement makes it sound as if she's a straight swap for Parker. Got me rethinking Zarlie big time.

I'd wanna see a game and the role first.

All we've seen from her at the Crows is a super low TOG bench player. Real unknown. Looks like she could slot into either the Goldsworthy or Parker roles, but risky as.

Thanks! Shouldn't get away from us in price if she's good so I should probably hold off. Was considering hedging my bets by trading in both Levy and Goldsworthy

The Giants team is literally just the final team from last week with Parker changed for Levy. They're telling you nothing. I'd be surprised if Zarlie is particularly negatively affected by the Parker injury. Kos, BTW, had equal third most hitouts to advantage for the round, which doesn't do much for fantasy scoring, but might explain why the Giants weren't as keen to drop her as some fantasy coaches.

I wouldn't worry about Heath either. If Hore's CBAs increase, it's most likely at the expense of Fitzsimon. None of the Melbourne mids were over 80% CBAs anyway and they all scored pretty well.

A few other noteworthy ones (at least for me):

Bacon on an extended bench, but Dallaway altogether dropped. Could mean Grieves debuts. For those who don't know, she's an absurd accumulator. I was kind of hoping she'd be a downgrade target later in the season.

Woodland named on the ball for Port (also Heads - sure); Stone for Hawthorn. Goodwin named in there for Adelaide ahead of Boileau is a little surprising to me, since Boileau was the more noticeable of the two in our game last week. Charlton injured and Ponter was awful. Randall's back. That situation is definitely a watch for me.

One last one on Rowbottom: the Suns game had the fewest ruck contests of any of the games last weekend. The Swans game had quite a few more. The Suns game was on a long ground; the Swans on the shortest ground. The stoppage count in that game will be very interesting to me. Stoppages were way down in general, but the suns were down at about 60% of last year's average. It's hard to imagine that's by design for them, given their midfield.

That's what im going towards as a Pearce replacement, two easy matchups too coming up, Murphy/Dyke and then Ott

Allows me to take Stannett up to Molloy who is best available

Breakeven changes so quickly in this game so it’s likely only relevant for one week. I’d taken the role for longer term scoring and cash.

Harris could easily drop a 20 and then her cash gen is done. Higher ceiling of course though.

Either pick is fine though, back your gut.

Went the other way, giving Stannett's another week and got rid of Heads to Heath - talk again after the weekend

Final teams for Pies v Giants:

Centra starting on field. Still named in the centre, but doesn't have to actually start there. Similarly, Goldsworthy still in the forward line. GWS did swap Pauga for Levy, though, so I wouldn't be surprised if Pauga starts forward and Goldsworthy starts on the ball. Either way I'm sticking with Zarlie as my premo in for the week.

A non-fantasy relevant late change of Fletcher out for Linde as well for the Giants. Grace Martin has been moved onto the field. Kos is still named on field as the ruck.

Ended up Fwd, Middle and Back during last game anyway, more of the same with a player like her.

Do I swap Rowbottom (to Painter? Or another premium? Or to a good forward and play Fitzpatrick at M5) and either bank cash/avoid her price drop?

Or move Koenen/McLaughlin to Heath who I think is a defensive must have?

Or Ewings as a forward red dot, move her on for maybe Amber Clarke?

I think it’s either Ewings for Clarke or Rowbottom for anyone - Patrikios, Painter/bank cash, or Molloy and Reid the front runners. Heath next week - I’ve got 5 solid defenders already with Rentsch D5
