Maybe. Do they have any young forwards that can play? It was pretty clear last year they are a better team without Pitto.
Yes, when Curnow and Mckay were the key fowards, I agree .......CARL will need another tall, and there's no-one screaming play me .....unless they go back to Silvagni, who was designated to play back this year

Maybe Kemp will play forward?
Maybe 3rd tall fwd ....Kemp's not physically big enough IMO to be a KPP ...he was drafted as a fwd, but has played his best footy in DEF ...again IMO

Zac Williams and Brodie Kemp both lined up in attack, having continued in their forward roles across the summer after finishing as strong goalkicking options for Carlton last season.

It's their small forwards are the weakness imo.

Look at the last few GF winners.
Cats , close,stegs,mires..etc.
Coll..bobby,mccreey,Billy E etc.
Bris Aheee, Rayner, Lohman etc.

Jay Clark reckons that Sinclair has been cleared of major damage, and he's expected to return in time for round 1.

"Superstar playmaker Jack Sinclair (hamstring) and goal kicker Mason Wood (quad) remain a good chance of taking on the Crows at Adelaide Oval in 33 days.

Sinclair, 29, suffered a minor hamstring strain last week and will set his sights on round 1 while Wood, 31, hurt his quad and will be on a modified training program for several weeks."
Clark's record is pretty patchy, but I could do with some good SC news tonight, so back into D1 Sinclair goes for me.

I remember Sinclair had a soft tissue injury this time last year, he missed rd1 and started with lots of 70s and 80s. He dropped a solid $60k-80k in price before getting back to his best. If he's underdone and rushed back, he could start slow again.
