I did a similar injury playing football, doctor likened it to a car crash with my knees hitting the dash. Broken patela, fractured femur head, some meniscus.

Obviously not a pro footballer, but semi, rehabed well, and played (albeit underdone) in a semi final 15 weeks later.

not SC relevant, but gave him a sentence that does cost him/gets him to think about actions and consequences but appeases the nutso's that usually want a leg amputated as minimum chips
