Depends how risk averse you are. If your rank and leagues are ****ed anyway, why not full send it and enjoy the ride? If your matchups are looking ok despite the outs, 126 isn't a terrible C option.I can't decide whether to take Xerri's VC socre or go with Smith?
I can see Smith going 150 though so maybe worth the gamble?
Plus I have Whitfield missing this week with Clarke covering him and Tauru covering Dewar at F6 so maybe I should be greedy.
If it helps, Smith has only gone above Xerri's score 4 times this season (WC, FRE, PTA, GWS), and his Rd 9 and 10 scores (154 & 156) were the highest of his whole career.
So realistically, a successful gamble will net you ~30 points max as that looks like his ceiling, while risking a 100-point swing if he does a Whitfield in the first quarter.
Recent scores on Richmond's midfield:
- Dawson (117), Bont (177), Richards (120), Libba (113), Heeney (123), Green (115), Martin (163), Merrett (153), Durham (122), Caldwell (119), LDU (117)
Only 3 mids in the last 6 weeks have topped Xerri's score when playing the Tigers (Bont, Martin, Merrett).
Given that, I'd personally take the VC, but YMMV.
