Hello, and welcome to another State-of-Orgin series on the Sweet Footy Fantasy Board. If you're reading this, then it's most likely that your taxpayer dollars are going to Glasgow to host our Commonwealth Games or to add more asphalt around the potholes.

While we wait for Season 40 to arrive, that time of the year is here again when you forget who all your teammates are and you turn them into enemies in the name of state pride! (or in our case, rural pride!) Once again, Pie 4 Life and I have been tasked with co-captaining the best players this league has to offer. Yes, that does include those from teams you don't like. So look around, figure out who'll be playing with and against this July and we should end up having fun winning it all giving out headaches to those city snobs who think they're better than us.

HOME GROUNDS
If you are familiar with Vic Country, we always look for nominations for grounds to host our unworthy opponents. Looking at the previous SoO series this decade, it looks like some areas have been missing out on hosting duties.



We are looking for venues inside the Mallee, Great South Coast, Barwon and Goulburn regions.

A more extensive list is that we are looking inside the following shires: Buloke, Colac Otway, Corangamite, Gannawarra, Glenelg, Greater Geelong, Greater Shepparton, Mildura, Mitchell, Moira, Moyne, Murrindindi, Queenscliffe, Southern Grampians, Strathbogie, Surf Coast, Swan Hill, Warrnambool.

We are back!

Could try Ouyen football ground, about 100kms south of Mildura. Plenty of around the ground parking, utes with couches and eskys on the back are encouraged.
