For those wondering who TMH is, that is Harry Van Hattum who is currently seen as the likely first available pick after Cochrane and Walker bids.

Going a bit wider this week to cover some prospects that haven't had a look in yet on the channel. A top 20 contender, Harrison Leeder is a slightly undersized but athletic marking forward who competes hard in the air and loves to fly for big, contested grabs. In this game he was the Knights main avenue to goal, drawing the footy almost every time they went forward, and while he didn't always clunk the mark he was never beaten by his opponent, bringing the ball to ground for his smalls to feast and occasionally follow up himself. He ended up kicking three majors of his own to round off a solid display.

Is Butler more Forward/Midfielder than the opposite? Who is the best genuine midfielder with pace, skill and ball getting ability - that isn't a scaredy cat

I’d have him as a midfielder/ forward. May start his career as a high-half forward type, but his pace and ball use is best served in the middle.

In answer to your second point, I’ll shy away from the obvious answer (Dougie Cochran). Noah Williams is probably the answer, although I’d say his skill is a little overhyped and is a tad undersized. Gus Teixera probably also fits the bill, and depending on his champs for Metro could legitimately be the 4th overall guy on my list.

Agree. Butler hasn't the proven body of work as a midfielder to be called one. More a fwd at the moment but not to say this doesn't swing the other way in the future.
Edwards (SA) could be one to look at. Strong in a contest, can get to the outside and hits the scoreboard when going forward.
He's SA's 2026 version of Sam Cumming.

Another Edwards from South Australia, love the sound of that!

Ethan Drever

Great skills

Round 2 - 25 touches, 10 clearances, 6 tackles and 2 goals
Round 3 - 34 touches, 10 clearances, 10 tackles and a goal
Round 4 - 27 touches and 8 tackles, noobermensch hasnt don’t a vid for this one so no clue on the clearance total but when I watched the game I’d be surprised if it wasn’t 8+
Round 6 - 31 touches, 9 clearances, 5 tackles and a goal.

He was also apparently very very good in vic country vs young guns match last weekend.
