After the season we’ve just had, I find it interesting they still see us as a drawcard. Maybe they have an eye on us as potential wildcard round competitors?

Third year of Round 0 and we’ve played in it twice.

Fourth year of Gather Round and next year will be the second time we’ve played a SA club.

Lovely how the AFL have sneakily given us two extra away games thanks to their stupid Round 0/Gather rounds.

We pull a decent crowd with our support, strange not to let the Crows play another team with a capacity crowd and get our game as another with some high gate numbers.

Takes time to claw back MCG games from.the Ian Collins deal.

This is a stepping stone to mostly MCG games.

We are pretty much guaranteed to fill Marvel. Which the AFL owns.

If we have fewer games there someone else has to take up the slack (according to the AFL).

I think the AFL will be a bit reluctant with our fixture because of the way we finished the year. 24k vs GC 25k vs Port, 41k vs Bombers at the G. They aren't the numbers of a juggernaut club.
