Interesting question. I was going to point you toward the club’s website for the official answer, but according to our ever‑reliable Media Department, Stuart Dew is still listed as our Assistant Coach (Forwards).

So the short answer is: who the effing actually knows.

Surely the stand-alone clubs, including Tasmania, Frankston Coburg, Williamstown etc don’t need to play this week.

AFAIK, when we have a bye in the AFL, we usually also get one scheduled in the VFL.
