Looks like Kyle Pitts is getting the tag, sad news for teams seeking a TE in free agency. He's going to get $16m if he plays on it

Kyle Pitts and George Pickens are getting franchise tagged. Atlanta say they are using it to work out a long term deal for Pitts. No such noise from Dallas in regards to Pickens.

Jets want to re-sign Breece Hall to a multi year deal. Why would you pay a running back big money in a fully blown rebuild? I doubt Hall is interested in signing a long term contract with the Jets but having said that, he might have no choice if they place the transition tag on him and the Jets want to dig their heals in and match an offer.

Lions are hosting the Germany game.

so updated international games
Australia: Rams Vs 9ers
Brazil: Dallas
Germany: Lions
Mexico: 9ers
France: Saints
Spain:
London 3 games: Jaguars

Spain has Bears, Miami and KC as teams with rights there so likely Bears since it the NFC's 9 home game year

I think the next TV deals will look way different. perhaps a streamer gets a game every week in the early window, CBS/Fox keep the 1PM window and alternate 4:25 games every week. but the 4:05 games get sold off to another streamer. with a whole bunch of 9am games from Europe sold off and more late season games taken from CBS/Fox and sold to the highest bidders
Something like CBS/Fox lose on average 2 games a week each from what they have now from losing the 4:05 games, international games carved out and moved to 9am and a 1PM game. plus late season games taken back. Which basiclly creates another full package the NFL can sell while pushing the current rights holders up more they get another $1.5bn+ in a new package or multiple smaller packages.

If the NFL is as pissed at NBC as it sounds wouldnt be surprised if they lost SNF perhaps ESPN swapped MNF for SNF and NBC gets either MNF or TNF with Amazon or whoever getting the other depending on the cost.

PFF's value has gone into the tank. was valued as high as $233m in the past and ends up being sold for $130m.

I guess it will be gone from SNF unless Collinsworth still owns a part of it

They will never ban the play. but change rules to make it illegal like assisted pushing or have alignment stuff defined clearer so the refs call them rather then just ignore it.

It got to the point where both teams were lining up offsides on the play

The Competition Committee recently said tho that assisting players into the end zone or for first downs is totally fine and no desire to alter that rule and therefore tush push is/should be too.

They already did. like 20 years ago it was changed to allow it. just took this long for teams to exploit it.

I think this year the 4th and 15 will get up for an onside alternative. will be interesting to see what other rules are put up by teams or the committee.

The dallas cowboys have to be the worst organisation to negotiate with for a contract extension. The senile twat Jones can't help but drag the negotiations through the media and make a giant spectacle out of it.

Yeah but they are being talked about its all Jerry cares for is people talking about Dallas. It doesnt matter what month it is, if its good or bad. As long as people are talking about them

George Pickens is such a trap when signing a long term deal. Finally has his breakout year in his contract year on a offensively friendly team. This decades Kenny Galloway best if jerry just tags and trades or make him play on the tag for 2026.

Sweat for Johnson is an interesting trade.

Obviously the players were no longer scheme fits for either side with the defense changing but feel the Titans should have been getting a + on top of Johnson given its the final year of his contract. Saleh's history with Johnson in New York played a part in making this happen but Sweat is clearly the better player on what we have seen so far.

Maybe there is a plus that we haven't been told about yet, the trade can't be finalised for another week and a half.

My god Michael bidwill is a special kind of trash owner. Man went from D to an F. Even the raiders owner isn't that bad.

I wonder what it would take for him to consider selling the team and sparring fans of his gross incompetence.
Yeah but the fans now get WiFi at the games.

Like the Browns, Jets and Bungles and a few other trash teams it will take a scandal to force him to sell or well death.

But we are going to struggle to get free agents, who gives a shit about wifi.

They only we we are going to get FA's is by massively overpaying them.

Raiders A across the board except for the entire coaching staff, which have now mostly changed

Position Coaches: C+
Offensive Coordinator: F
Defensive Coordinator: C
