We have had kennels for all 3 of our dogs and not one of them bothered using it. They slept inside anyway but you'd think they would use them when they were outside during the day in the rain but nope preferred to be dripping wet.
Yeah our cavoodle has a coat like a sponge. You'd think he'd at least sit under the verandah when it's raining but nope. Just gets wet with a big dumb look on his face

I’ve got a cavoodle too, she’s not a massive fan of water/rain which is surprising. But when she does go out in the rain it’s a pain in the ass.

Never been into LOTR, used to watch the Star Wars movies when I was a kid tho. I mean, who didn’t?

The best thing about the original star wars series is that George Lucas made it look realistic (forget the sound effects and music score etc). I think too many scientific films do themselves and injustice by making everything brand new looking.

Star Wars and the ships, robots, actors, everything . . . they look like they had not showed for days and their spaceships had been flying around space for hundreds of years.
It's why I still love 2001. Epic and still the most realistic space movie ever made.
Space would be chaotic. Constantly getting pelted with debris and colors would completely wear away with all the radiation and light exposure.

Different POV- but the "look" of a film is so incredibly important.

My favourite movie is Silence of the Lambs- that "grainy/gritty" realistic feel to it is one of the reasons why I love it.
On the flip side- it's sequel Hannibal is all "glossy" and just shit + that is one of the reasons why I hated it.

But in 2001 A Space Odyssey the music score (and the absences of music) is almost everything. No?

Leave Hannibal alone!
