Sam Walsh (543k) Vs Will Ashcroft (545k)

You'd want a good R0 score from either to consider really. Assume you're looking for some quick cash rather than a keeper?
Definitely only cash and a few points in the bank over the first half dozen rounds

Zero chance either is a season long keeper

My current structure could really do with a midpricer forward (early days of course) — could potentially go down to another rookie priced player depending on selection but then I’ll have a fair bit of cash sitting unused

Early days but I guess Ugle-Hagen could be another option I guess

Walsh if fit (big, big if)

I worry about how many other players will be taking points in the Brisbane side

Realistically probably neither for me because I’m not sure I can be confident in Walsh’s body

For that price range Treloar is the pick of the bunch

Ok guys here is one that I've been thinking about for a while.

Finn Callaghan vs Lachie Whitfield

I know they are on different lines but I would love to start both but with the early bye I will grab only one of them.

Tough one. I too, would like both.

Feel like one of NWM/Whit/Sinclair/Ash is doable in defence. (All have the same bye).

Most people will have Flanders and Pou on that bye too.

Whitfield is more likely to be a top 6 defender than Finn is a top 8 mid, so I'd go for him.

Yes I agree and I would prefer an extra premo in Defence at the start as well.

Anderson or Rowell if you dont have room for both....?
I'm likely starting both due to amazing early fixture but I think you can just flip a coin.

Against their first 5 opponents (excl round 0) Rowell averaged 145 and Anderson 140 last year.

Rowell priced at 118.5 and Anderson at 114.5 Both represent tremendous value early on. Rowell very slightly more value.

The question marks on Rowell are
The new tackle rules might hurt Rowell, and he won the Brownlow last year, almost always means a drop in average the following year.

The question marks on Anderson are Petracca stealing some of that attacking mid points that Anderson can get when he receives out the front of the stoppages
