Grew up on the Gold Coast and been nurtured by the Suns since he was 13. What a shock.Had a look and he’s another academy player… what a shock haha

Stop making sense Choppers.
- Junior Career: He played his junior football for the Burleigh Bombers, a well-known AFL club on the coast.
- Early Specialization: He was identified by the Gold Coast Suns Academy at just 12 years old. This usually means a high level of commitment to the AFL talent pathway throughout his early teens.
- Rapid Rise: By 16, he was already playing senior-level football, winning a QFA Division 2 premiership with Burleigh in 2023 before moving to the Broadbeach Cats to play in the QAFL (the top state league) to prepare for the draft.
Next week could see all of these guys on the bubble
Who do we think will be a must if we could forecast a week early? I envisage Schoenberg & Steene nearly being musts, however not sure I want to go 2 down next week
- Schoenberg $119,9k (MID)
- Lai $119,9k (MID)
- Arty Jones $119,9k (MID/FWD)
- Steene $119,9k (RUC/FWD)
- Byrne $113k (MID/FWD)
- Farrow $167k (MID/DEF)
Farrow looks the pick of the bunch, a good kick in a poo team.
Steene, Jones can play a role and will get games.
Not sold on the others, Schoenpig can play but The Rig Robertson will be back in the team next week and may eat up his points.
Angus Anderson debuting for the pies this week.
Thought he looked pretty good but do think there isn't a spot for him if Amon is fit and well.Question for the Hawkers: Is Perez a chance to stick around or is he straight out for Amon?
I'd prefer Perez to Amon, but it won't happenQuestion for the Hawkers: Is Perez a chance to stick around or is he straight out for Amon?
I suspect it will be Perez or Scrimshaw that make way for Amon. He was solid enough on Monday so would be unlucky.Question for the Hawkers: Is Perez a chance to stick around or is he straight out for Amon?
Scrimshaws form this year is just average imo but Perez prob goes out first still, Amon plays if fitI suspect it will be Perez or Scrimshaw that make way for Amon. He was solid enough on Monday so would be unlucky.
Same can probably be said for Dalton if Mackenzie is back.
West Adelaide
West AdelaideGuess who doesn't read the thread
Well, you'd hope that's the case for a guy drafted in the top 10. Though with Essendon's recent drafting history, nothing can be ruled out I suppose. It's not a matter of 'if' he plays, it's 'when'.
They turn him into a top 100 draft pick in no time.Well, you'd hope that's the case for a guy drafted in the top 10. Though with Essendon's recent drafting history, nothing can be ruled out I suppose.
Don't know what his TOG was though. I think he was on managed minutes in that game, which beggars the question: Why take him to Adelaide when he hasn't yet had a full game in the VFL?Robey's whopping 11 touches in the twos going to translate well.
To give Brad Scott something to talk to the press about? Rather than how they are going shit and he can't fix it?Don't know what his TOG was though. I think he was on managed minutes in that game, which beggars the question: Why take him to Adelaide when he hasn't yet had a full game in the VFL?
