Which app or website is this from? Looks shmickinteresting that he had fewer CBA’s in the last when he went massive.

Eye test indeed looks good. Strongly considering Blakistan to him next week. All good my friend! I quite like Fonti, but haven't stumbled across an easy way to get him in just yet. Reckon he's a solid option, eye test looks really good.
Just bear in mind that he's going to go up quite a lot this weekEye test indeed looks good. Strongly considering Blakistan to him next week.
80 x 2 gets him to $370k at his bye. Is the extra trade worth $70k?Just bear in mind that he's going to go up quite a lot this week

I really rate him and if I was trading him in, would probably aim to hold for at least 4-5 weeks to let him fatten properly. But I'd get the logic too for someone like SS who doesn't have a clear trade-in option for Gulden. Would probably rather that than going early on a rook and having all that cash warming the bench.80 x 2 gets him to $370k at his bye. Is the extra trade worth $70k?
Trouble is if you do the Gulden>Fonti trade you are still sitting on $260K, which isn't enough to trade anyone but Fonti up to a premo. So you are then a premo short for several weeks. GWS also have Richmond after their bye so it would be tempting to hold him.I really rate him and if I was trading him in, would probably aim to hold for at least 4-5 weeks to let him fatten properly. you could always do a quick smash and grab with Fonti? Get a couple of good price rises from him and some decent on-field scores in the interim,
And Gulden is the only forced trade of that lotWith spare time on my hands I made up a team of players mentioned as possible trade outs this round in this thread...
Coleman McKercher Marshall
Clark Young Whitfield
Parish Oliver Brayshaw
Phillipou Coniglio Neale
de Goey NAS Warner
Grundy Gulden Walsh
D Cameron, Sharp, Rivers, Uwland, T Miller
Briggs, Visentini, Blakiston stiff to miss but 5 rucks might be overkill even under the new rules.
Perfect. That's the best scenario for trading Gulden IMO.Thinking Gulden>English/Jackson & move McAndrew to flex rather than R2
Thoughts?
Cheers mate. Means I have to offload Blakiston early but I like the security of a premo ruck @ R2. Don’t trust NicksPerfect. That's the best scenario for trading Gulden IMO.

Yeah have dpp @ R3Sounds good assuming you have a dpp at r3?
If not, not worth it i don't think.
Can you not do it in one trade?Cheers mate. Means I have to offload Blakiston early but I like the security of a premo ruck @ R2. Don’t trust Nicks

I started Serong but agree, not sure I’d be rushing to trade into him. There's 2 issues for Serong. New rules and competition for CBAs. Last yr he had 81% CBAs and Rd 1 this yr had 68% with Jackson, Young and Reid added to the mix. He struggles in transition so has got a few negatives despite the big last qtr on the weekend. He and X are the 2 who seemed to salvage decent scores against the trend on the weekend but some doubt if it's sustainable

Yeah it's an awkward amount of money to be sitting on, but I also have Windsor and Budarick and didn't find either one particularly convincing (though Windsor could have gone big if he nailed his chances), so it gives me some options there. Not to mention Parish and Young that could get injured at any given moment.Trouble is if you do the Gulden>Fonti trade you are still sitting on $260K, which isn't enough to trade anyone but Fonti up to a premo. I figure Gulden was on his bye in rd3 anyway, so getting a rookie this week is actually an extra scorer (albeit only a rookie).
But yeah, I don't love the idea of going early on a $99k guy either.

As someone else that started Serong, I agree.I started Serong but agree, not sure I’d be rushing to trade into him.
IMO you're planning too many unforced early trades for a team that scored so well in round one.Does this sound like a good idea…. My team scored 2400 this week and I’ve got all the good rookies exc Sellwood, Carroll & Rosas which I’m good with.
I need 1 more mid this week to field a team with the byes but can move Grij to Mid and ZZ to flex but that means losing McAndrew sadly.
But I’m hoping to get Gulden to the flex to trade in for Fonti and that’s just cause I only have 594,100 to trade a prem in and I’m not liking Ed Richard’s, Merrett or Sam Walsh and I’d rather if possible go next week if Fonti gives me +47k as expected go:
Fonti to Anderson/Bonts the goal though in 2 weeks
Jordan Clark if he has a bad scoring game to Dan Houston
Pou if not named to Cook
That will net me an additional 167k to get Bont rather than burn a trade on Zerrett or Richards when the only mids I’d like for Gukden are Bont/Anderson/Holmes
