My question is, how do you keep a lid on things after such a display against Port? I hope we aren't celebrating too early but it's better than not celebrating at all. Peter Harris

You should enjoy any win Peter, but within 24 hours there is a reality that we have another game coming. We apply a 24 hour rule which gives the players 24 hours to enjoy a win. It is important that the players feel good about their performances, but after the 24 hours we knuckle down and focus on our next opponent.

Thats such a great philosophy

I was just thinking we could extend it to this board...but only after losses

Keep the negative threads open for 2 days after the game..then focus on the next game.

We could never make it work without some ruthless moderating!


....but then there is always the 48 hour rule it gives us two more days to drown our sorrows if we lose.

...two days to lynch bridman

...two days to have OFF when Port may fluke a win

... two days to analyse Craigs missed bench movement so I could vent my spleen on bigFOOTY

...two days of searching the draw for our next good run so we can get BLOODY consistent!!

Just to let you know Sturt are on top of the SANFL ladder and yes the Brisbane game will be interesting now after their home loss to the dogs.

yep, same here PC. On a positive note, I watched a bit of the Eagles game yesterday and Knights looks the goods. 23 possies in only 3 quarters of footy, now that's something to smile about.

on the flip side....Bock, Stevo, and most importantly Watts continued to look like good average SANFL players.....

I think Ladhams' workrate should at least bring him into selection calculations.

I re-watched the game today and I thought Ladhams did pretty well. His forward line pressure was pretty good and he had a say in North taking control of the game. He set up a couple of goals and in general used his 20 touches well.

I would rather recall Ladhams into the side than give "young Doughty" another game because he has arguably been our biggest passenger this year
