Yep and it's super exciting that's it's only taken us 25 years to work out the importance of pace.
in their defense, the averages across the list would've looked pretty good for most of that. but then boomer retired and they realised why.

Has family links to the club with Daniel Cross (Conditioning coach). Guess we have an idea of his talent, but even still makes no sense from a list balance perspective.

His highlights remind me of Dylan Stephens. Looks a bit like him too.

Wasn't sure about the selection from a list perspective but I think he's capable of playing on the wing. Excellent work rate, great overhead and good ball user.

Don't mind it.

If we were going with a runner, I would’ve preferred one that can find the ball with more regularity like LeRay or Wright.

Close enough
Welcome back Blake drury
a 180cm forward/midfielder from the Geelong falcons with some toe, flowing blonde hair, name ends in a vowel? I was thinking Charlie Lazarus had risen from the dead

I like the pick too.

Yea, we probably have too many half forwards, but there is high versatility among that half forward group in playing other positions for periods.

Both guys not athletic enough for where the game is going unfortunately.

Wild to me that clubs don’t back themselves to extract some more athletic potential out of an 18 year old kid. Endurance wise most athletes don’t fully mature there until 25-28 years old
Obviously it’s good to have baseline athleticism,
but its not like Wright or LeRay are terrible athletes.

For the record he played for Werribee in the VFL this year towards the end of the season. Had it 15 times, 6 marks and 4 tackles.

Putting in a shift like that in your first game at VFL level isn't easy. As has already been mentioned, he didn't have a preseason, so we'd be intrigued about what he could be with a couple of AFL ones under his belt.
