"Wasting bandwidth refers to unnecessary consumption of internet data, which can lead to slower speeds and higher costs"Again, your making excuses.
You can't be charged for receiving stolen money unless they consider it reasonable that you could have known it was stolen,
These blokes he was lending money to ( he can say they stole his card, but logically, sounds a lot like he knew), they were tip-rats. Known for stealing. I might be wrong, but he had commited crimes of theft with these blokes in his past.
But even if we believe his rather unbelievable story, When they stole his card to rent a car in their own town even though they already own cars, or ones to loan off friends - did that not seem weird? Did he not ask them "why", especially knowing the character of the people involved? When they paid him back with money he knew they more than likely didn't "earn", did he not know?
He pleaded guilty. He is guilty. No "*". Bloke was 31 years old FFS. Been to prison. Made a family, lived such a life that i owned a book from him, which i purchased, while all this was going on.
The fact he already had a criminal record isn't another "*" either. He is in that position because he deserves to be. He committed crimes, got caught, got charged.
Despite all this, Marlion got given a chance to redeem himself & got given, the absolute best, 1st game opportunity of any player in AFL history. He got to debut in a Grand Final for Richmond. Richo, Knights, the Kellaways & so many other Richmond people would have given everything to play in a Richmond GF. This guy got gifted it without ever even needing to play a single game for us.
He knew better. Stop making excuses for him. He is guilty. Pleaded guilty & the story his lawyers made up was not believable. If it was, they wouldn't have told him to plead guilty. Again, when i was 14 years old i have enough maturity to understand that when i accepted the $5 for a sausage roll, knowing the money was stolen - It was something i deserved to feel ashamed of.
