I think that's what Masai really wants. The game played in morgue like quietness. The Dockers only seem to be able to perform when the crowd is silent. Perhaps a club issue of knitting needles is required for home games next year?

The Kangaroos game surprises me to be on that list. Hardly a blockbuster IMO, especially if its played at Manuka again. It would have to be a home game I guess, but there would of been better Friday night games to pick than that. This leads me to believe that Collingwood wont be paying us a visit to Subi again. I guess some things never change.

A friday night derby would be great. I'm thinking of becoming a member so I'd get to go, but if I didn't it would be great to see it friday night. Both teams will get the exposure around the country and then the people in victoria will se how damn good derbies are

My comment was as a Docker member having a tongue in cheek reference to our home form. I was not referring to the Eagles form or lack of.

What sort of numbers could you expect at a Melbourne based derby ? Do you reckon they'd get the 40,000 or so that attend at Subi ?

Not a chance

Freo would have to be the worst supported team outside of Perth, dismal attendances at Freo games In Vic, and we generally dont do much better

Put both together and youd get ********all, unless it was a Grand Final

id assume Essendon vs West Coast would be at the telstra dome seen as the last game they play was in W.A but you nerver know...
