1. our coaching staff has got to be one of the most underrated in the comp. our defensive set up in the 3rd quarter around their defnsive 50 did not allow them to go into their half. The ball stayed in their 50 for 75% of that quarter I believe. Credit to longmire and co.

2. I am now very relaxed coming into games because deep down I know that we will win. We are a great team.

3. We're still not at our best but I'm happy with where we are at. These are just dress rehearsals for finals.

1) Reid cops too much crap on this board. His workrate is what's important right now, and he was very busy on Saturday. We all know his skills and athleticism; and they will come to the fore as he grows and gains experience (and Tippett gets there). He has very slick hands in traffic.
2) The third quarter suggests we're a very, very good team, and it's difficult to understand the continual under-rating.
3) I'm completely sold on McVeigh. Has continued to grow as a captain and a premiership winner. And he is one of an outstanding midfield group ... the Vic media would be drooling about Hannebery and Parker if they played for any of the big Vic teams; they're as good as the likes of Beams, Martin, Gibbs or Murphy at Carlton, and better than Steven at St Kilda, Liberatore/Wallis at the Dogs or just about any of the young "rave" players in the Vic teams.

Every young prospect on our list seems to be a future captain!

1. Sydney have one of the best, if not the best mid-fields in the league.

2. We need to learn how to not go to sleep after half time when we are in the lead.

3. North Melbourne miss Brent Harvey.

3. North Melbourne miss Brent Harvey.

A player I admire (though I hate to see him playing us). Harvey would not have stood staring at the headlights of the oncoming Swans truck during that 3rd quarter. He wouldn't have been enough to stop us but he'd have fought like a mongrel dog to the end. Swans biggest asset is we have a whole team with that spirit. We refuse to die. We are Zombie.

1. McGlynn needs to be angry. Soph needs to dump on him before matches. He plays his best in green skin.
2. McVeigh has an uncanny sense to know where the ball will be. Are his own balls made of crystal ?
3. Mummy may be the one to miss out when Tippet comes if he continues to gorge the pies. No seriously, he's not looking 100% and a super slick new Pykey is making him look worse. Mummy, Reid, Goodes & Jetta still rusty. Add Tippex to that lot and we still have a lot of upside.
4. Norf fans can't count to 3

17. How good is Jude Bolton ? I will knife the next person who suggests he retires (even if that's Jude himself). As far as I'm concerned Jude is the Viagra of footballers. He could play until his seventies and still be hard.

Visual aside, I agree with the sentiment :P

Why do you Harvey playing us. for whatever reason we have a good track record of limiting his output.

Nothing personal. I enjoy watching good players in action against other teams but for the duration of our games I hate any and all opposition players and the better they are the more I hate them. If we win all is forgiven. If we don't I continue to hate them until next time we beat them.
