Got season one unseen on DVD cause my sister told me I'd like it. And I did. D/L season 2 as I watched the last disc, then moved straight into season 2. Pity it ran shorter (writers strike I guess) coz I finished it in a night. Love the show and have a thing for Tina (Hatchet Face) Fey, even as the older woman

I picked up seasons 1 and 2 of 30 rock on the cheap during JBs sale last week. Glad I did, really enjoying the show.

THIS is by far my favourite show! Hate channel 7 for putting it on so late.. Tina Fey is amazing and i think this show should have been promoted not scrubs!!

The show is awesome.

The writing is intelligent, sharp and witty, the emsemble cast is excellent, whilst the characters of Jack, Tracy and Kenneth are superb.

The best line from the first series (and one of the better lines i've seen in a sitcom):

Jack Donaghy: She said she thought you looked like Jennifer Jason Leigh.
Liz Lemon: Really? She said that?
Jack Donaghy: Yes, I made her repeat it. I was sure she meant Jason Lee.

it took the actors a couple of episodes to find their characters... but once they did the show is fantastic... seven are crazy not to run this show properly... they never even gave it a chance when it started, showing it at like 10.30 for a week, then 11.30, then whenever they felt like it...

so, torrents ftw... downloading episode 14 of season 3 now...

To be fair, that was 16 months ago and at the time i had only seen a few episodes.

Now i have seen all of season 1 and 2 – it would be a sensation show to watch at 7:30 and shit all over some of the crap they have on at that time.

having said that, I have no doubt 30 rock could hold it's own in prime time... won't dominate the ratings like it does in the US, where it's the most popular show on television, or 2 and a half men does here but it could definately hold its own...

I would've liked seven to show the first season over summer in the 7.00 slot they ran How I Met Your Mother in... get people hooked, then run it prime time from the second season onward, which is where the show really comes into its own...

one more question, why hasn't any of the pay tv networks picked this up yet? surely comedy channel, fox8 or arena should be showing this by now... what's the bet seven are being stingy with it?
