In well over 100 years fasolo becomes only the 24th player and/ or head coach to represent both teams. There haven’t been many.... definitely Scotland though.Who was the last decent magpie to play for us who actually excelled?

Or, you could wait until he kicks a bag against our team when we beat them next year, and you could do it again!I used to put on a Jabba voice and say "Fa-Solo, ho-ho-ho" to annoy my Collingwood supporting mate during Carlton-Collingwood games. I can't do that any more.![]()
A syndesmosis injury is commonly referred to as a "high ankle sprain", essentially the syndesmosis is connective tissue between the tibia and fibula in the lower leg. It is commonly injured in athletes during rotational force whilst the foot is planted.Anyone in here know much about syndesmosis ?
Apparently it was reason for majority of his absence in 2018.
Is it a lingering condition?
ThanksA syndesmosis injury is commonly referred to as a "high ankle sprain", essentially the syndesmosis is connective tissue between the tibia and fibula in the lower leg. It is commonly injured in athletes during rotational force whilst the foot is planted.
They commonly have a longer recovery time compared to normal ankle sprains. If the injury is deemed stable it is approximately a 6ish week injury with monitored weight bearing activity. If it is deemed unstable (meaning the connection between the 2 bones is comprimised) then commonly surgery is undertaken and hence a more tedious recovery and potentially lingering pain or issues.
Ultimately Fas is in an elite program with the best diagnosis, treatment and management available. The issues generally arise in the general public or in more severe cases where bony injury is involved.
Hope that gives a bit of insight to the injury
Without knowing the individual extent of his injury I'd guess he should be all good, yes. Thanks
That's very informative.
The main message I gathered from that is that being in a professional environment, and given the length of time since he suffered it, he is unlikely to be overly restricted next season; am I right?
Nothing wrong with Rabbit stew ...unless you are a RabbitI’ll eat rabbit stew for a month if that happens....
Thanks
