What are people's recommendations for a 32" LCD tv? Obviously i want a good quality TV without spending too much money.

That small I wouldn't waste money on the higher definition TV's.

I wouldn't waste money on a 32 incher, if your going to get a LCD TV get a nice big one. But of course it depends on where you want to use the LCD, if it's going to be sitting on a table other than the lunge room etc.

It's for a bedroom so i thought 32" would be a good size.

Just dont spend lots of dollars for 1080p or anything close. A tv that size you will not be able to see the difference. It's only when you get the big screens you need the higher resolutions.

I have a samsung 26" hd lcd for my bedroom and it's great. Samsung are on the cheaper side of the curved bell also.

I was thinking of a Samsung. They seem to be very good tv's at a reasonable price. From what i can gather the Sony and Samsung are the best but the Sony is more expensive. Would you go larger than 26" if you were to buy a tv again?

I've got a Panasonic 32" LCD in my room which is the ideal size for me, and I did a fair bit of research and comparisons between other brands. In the end the picture quality was the best of the lot and the colours are for more "real" compared to comparable models made by Samsung and Sony etc.

I have a question re: LCD TV's.

We've got a Samsung 26" or something like that (by God do LCD's look smaller than the old boxys!) and it doesn't have TV Out. So, does that mean we can't record to our DVD recorder (HDD + Disk)?

What other outputs does it have? Anything called monitor out or video out or anything along those lines? If not it doesnt look like it. Does it have an HDMI out? A lot of DVR's have HDMI in so you could try connecting with HDMI.

Im looking at a big LCD for my room, not only to watch tv and foxtel on but i also want to run my PC through it. What quality can i expect and how can i set it up to get the most out of it?

What outputs do you have on your PC?

Some PC's have HDMI so you could connect through that. The most common way is to connect with a VGA cable. It's good quality, definitely watchable for movies, games, etc.
