great to hear.Best on ground today int he VFL match against Casey and got stronger as the game went on. His endurance and fitness a clear standout. Also has a burst of speed which he showed towards the ned. Neat kick too! Lock for Round 1.
I didn't watch, so I can't comment on his game too much but I sort of get the vibe that he is a good VFL player and that's it.Best on ground today in the VFL match against Casey and got stronger as the game went on. Well you can't say that until he plays seniors. He has some senior attributes though. First, he can kick. The pass late in the game was from the 70's stab pass style. He has the running ability of a good wingman, has a burst of speed. He got back to the last line of defence to help out the backs and he is a solid unit, so not easily pushed off the ball.I didn't watch, so I can't comment on his game too much but I sort of get the vibe that he is a good VFL player and that's it.
I mean it didn't cost much so at worst he is depth.
I will spew if they play Ralphsmith over Retschko.Well you can't say that until he plays seniors. He has some senior attributes though. First, he can kick. Right now he is in a race with Ralphsmith. Both similar in size and that they move like wingmen, but Ret'ko has better disposal. Hugo is a decent mark, so it will be interesting as the season goes on.
Didn’t notice McAuliffe dominate or?It seems like Hugo and sonsie was the coaches go to guys for the wing but I wonder if retschko did enough to leapfrog Hugo and sonsie
hugo should not be near the 22.It seems like Hugo and sonsie was the coaches go to guys for the wing but I wonder if retschko did enough to leapfrog Hugo and sonsie
True, he is another wingman …. It would seem he is safe atm …. I wonder if retschko can leapfrog Hugo and sonsie? Time will tellDidn’t notice McAuliffe dominate or?
I haven't seen either games so I can't say. But Hugo cops a lot of bashing on here, some deserved some not, so I'm not sure Retschko is a walk up over Hugo.I will spew if they play Ralphsmith over Retschko.
He has a role if he is good enough, definitely need players that bring what his game-profile suggest.
If he struggles to get into the side, then its because he is not good enough by a long stretch. We desperately need a hard running, speedster type
Retschko doesn’t look to have many weaknesses and gets the ball. Averaged 23 in his first year from memoryRetschko & McAuliffe > Ralphsmith & Sonsie
