He is most similar to Broad, and roughly the age Broad arrived at the club now. That is the sort of role I see Trezise playing, not the most skilled defender but will stick to a player, terrific tackler, good runner good on the ground and in the air, so can cope with a range of opponents.
Yeah see him ended up in the backline.

I’m happy with how he is developing so early. Stepping into a wing position is hard and you can see he lost with his running, especially defensively. But he tries his heart out and would suit a role like a lock down defender.

I like the comparison to broad although he’s a touch shorter than broad.

I don’t see him as a long term option. Probably harsh, but I don’t really rate him but he’s been serviceable this year

Serviceable yes but his graft is slowly going up. Has size, can take intercept marks and gets the ball. Seems to be getting with the tempo.

Trigger produced a few sneakily creative handballs on the weekend. This will be important for him as he is a bit shaky with his kicking at times.

kid was always going to be a slow burn.
His progression will come from pumping games into him..
Do think his size will be a valuable tool.

Surely gets a full game next week. Very important in that last quarter.
Also nice that the left foot gives us something different, hits the angles different going into the f50 that a right footer just can't.

Has to stay in the team, I have a feeling Yze already knew he was good enough but was finding out about others.

Came on uses the ball well had an impact, assisted Jonty Faull's goal.
I think he has been challenged to develop his offensive game in the VFL. He was great in the last quarter. Should be playing every week.

Not a fan, your all so desperate for him to succeed so you can feel better we picked a guy from our VFL system when weve let so many more go LOL
hes courageous and a strong mark but he's yet to take his game to the next level. handy defender but needs to start showing some dash and using the footy creatively. he dishes it off like he's a kpd when he should be the one making the moves out of defense.

i doubt anyone actually remembers he was from our vfl side (i forgot tbh)

don't think ppl are as hung up about it as you seem

Fair enough, I'm just not a fan, think his decision making is a bit too slow, if we ever play finals again, it will just get worse.

I liked what I saw on saturday night - he backed himself in with pace and ran away from his opponent a few times. Hopefully gaining some confidence to take the game on a bit more

For a player with so few games I can’t believe he’s not a permanent member of the team. He shows something pretty much every game he plays. Of course he makes a few errors and isn’t the finished product … because he has played f*** all games.

I really think he’s got a 10-year career ahead of him as his positives far outweigh his negatives and I see plenty of upside.

Match committee listens to this board re some players and not others. Only explanation

Would be great if he made the grade as a left footed wingman. Think there is real value in having a left footed wingman as opposed to two right footers. Was hoping it would be Clarke but that not happening.

WTF is this guy doing when he gets the ball.

If U r on your left side and U r a Left footer then kick the bloody thing.
have noticed it in him for a while now, zero confidence in his disposal, will handball to nank right next to him rather than take it on himself to hit a target.
