Interesting facts:

• Holds the club record for most seasons on rookie list
• Despite being named "Beau", does not like eating goldfish or hip-and-shouldering taxis
• Is a symbol of Mr Burns' lost youth and innocence
• Was for several years second only to David Wirrpanda in reverse alphabetical order however arrival of fellow rookie Callum Wilson has bumped him to third
• Was born on the same day as my wife (though in a different year)
• If the words "Wilkes" and "Waters" were put on the BigFooty swear filter, we would have to talk about "Beau W****s" and might get he and Beau Waters confused

ok seen as though i played colts footy with Beau (Wilkes that is) for the mighty Railways FC + follow what he's doing still i will update for you guy's.
Heard he had a very impressive game in the Claremont intra club match wich saw him selected for his first hit out in wiggles colours down here in his home town.
I didn't go but the report from the boys was he held his own very well down back taking some good marks + his possesions were clean, while not been put to shame by the likes of Rocca + maxwell.
All reports i heard where impressive without been extraudinary.
Good luck to Bozzo this year + i wish him all the best, I know personally he was extactic to join the eagles after supporting you guys for some reason all his life

With Mitch Brown out, we can elevate a rookie. McKenzie, Schofield and Brown were probably all ahead of him in the pecking order. Now it's between him and Spangher for a spot that I think will be made available.

In other news, with Kerr suspended, Hunter, Hurn, Cox, Glass, Butler, Priddis, Brown, Wirrpanda, Lynch, Hansen, Embley, Fletcher, Brett Jones, Chad Jones, Forgetful Jones all doubtful Wilkes has been pencilled in to play the entire backline and midfield against the Blues. And forwardline and ruck division as well

I think he rotated on Tippet with Glass. They kept him quiet. Had good composure and accurate kicking out of defence. Will be interesting to see how he goes against Collingwood, and the bigger bodied Rocca.
