Probably should have immediately had a shot when he got that chance in the third. Then he tried passing to Caddy out the back but probably could have made the distance. I don't see him as a Jye Menzie as Menzie too often turns certain goals into mush. The one handed mark was quite skillful as he didn't juggle it which would have made it OOB. Lays crunching tackles. As someone else said would like to see him a few more times.

Not sure if he has what it takes but does have the body to play AFL.

With the state of the list needs to be given a full preseason and see if he can work hard to get the fitness required to play.

I'm not 100% sold but they have to keep playing him, shows glimpses and at least has forward pressure unlike Menzie & ADJ.

It could have been a good night out if he'd kicked straight.

HEA would be lucky to play next year, Sweid could play but not necessarily a deffensive small fwd.

With Davey, Menzie both likely gone, Unwin could be a player up the ground I think it'd be smart list management if O was given an extra year

i think the problem is we have so many key/medium forwards signed up you i just don't see enough space

we'd have kako, unwin, HEA, sweid - then caddy, may, edwards, McMahon and gerryen. plus wright, langford, perkins, gresham and guelfi under contract maybe even draper

id rather give that list spot to a blakiston or a McMahon

Look, every concern I had with him in the VFL is translated to the AFL. I'd be surprised if he was retained.

Gave himself a couple of chances with limited opportunities. He looks like he has goals in him but others have seen much more of him than me. I want to see a bit more of him. Surely he has more to offer than Menzie. We need to find out anyway so I hope we keep playing him.

Showed enough last night to say there’s something to work with. Would prefer him over Guelfi at this stage. Really strong in few contests with bigger guys bouncing off him.

Unfortunately doesn't seem quick/agile enough for a small. Tough and has a crack though so I'd leave him in. Be good to at least kick 1 and play 5 or so games. Maybe guelfi role but guelfi has a bit more pressure/speed it appears.

I feel like between he and Kako they are stronger over the ball then some of our midfielders.

Probably not at the level tbh, but hope he gets few more games at the level.

You think could improve some speed/agility if trims down, a full pre season and some running coaching.

Id also have as a back up as we have a big need for smalls so maybe a train on spot next year?

Just play him the rest of the year. We need to find out because I'm not sure we have enough list spots to re-sign him in hopes that a pre-season is all he needs.
