Hi guys
Obviously in lieu of all the conversations about us doing everything to get [PLAYERCARD]Josh Dunkley[/PLAYERCARD] to Windy Hill (aka Tullamarine), we are apparently looking into getting Kyle in first.
Why was he delisted amid the rebuilding of the Melbourne engine room? Some pretty big wraps for him to be taken at number 3 in the mid season draft of last year.
Is he a reasonable runner? skills decent enough? Obviously a decent enough body shape (185cm/84kg).

As silly as it seems, we are looking at the bigger picture (trying to attract Josh), if it means we take Kyle for a year or two, great.It's a mid season draft, it's the left over rookies.
Dunkley is pretty rubbish. Just a bland nothing player really.

Even if it means Kyle plays VFL for a year or two, I wouldn't mind that. We don't have a great deal of depth in our young midfield department.
I think with the shrinking list sizes he was going to struggle. I thought he was worth persisting with. Looked ok when he played a few games. Maybe lacks a bit of pace.

Melbourne aren't rebuilding the engine room. It's the one area we're pretty flush with talent. He wasn't going to get a game ahead of Viney/Oliver/Trac/Brayshaw etc. In the guts. Was okish with stints as a flanker but probably best in the middle.
Scope for improvement but as others said, with cuts to list sizes and no remarkable form he was always in the gun for delisting.

We're not rebuilding our engine room and he didn't get near a game this year. Played small forward a few times last year. Good luck to him if his brother being elite earns him a contract but I doubt he'd play much.
