I want to start out by saying that there’s nothing wrong with any of this, and I couldn’t care less about whoever you may or may not want to bum.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, I’d like to clear up some common misconceptions about the supposed homosexuality ratios of Hawthorn supporters. The term 48%ers gets thrown around willy nilly in these forums and there seems to be continual misunderstanding about its context and meaning. We’re all living in an age of acceptance and tolerance, so for the sake of our Friends from Hawthorn, its time to clear this up for once and for all.

THERE IS NO WAY 48% OF ALL HAWTHORN SUPPORTERS ARE HOMOSEXUALS. Its preposterous to suggest otherwise.

The data shows only that a Hawthorn supporter is 48% more likely to consider themselves a homosexual than the supporter of another club. Extrapolating this against the accepted 10% ratio of homosexuality in our society, we arrive at the conclusion that only 14.8% of Hawthorn supporters are homosexuals, which is about one in every seven.

So its not as significant as we all thought.

I doubt outing yourself as gay these days is as fashionable in the pet world tho.

One in every seven hey?
Looking through our regular bay posters my money is on A Cut Above being the first lucky number seven, judging by the way he and Chappyuk flirt with each other.
Jazny Im not sure about (I dont think Jazny is sure about Jazny tbh).
Anyway Im happy to bow to a Sydneysiders vast experience on such matters.

Im not gay and neither is my boyfriend.

However our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and our Chocolate Labradoodle do spend a lot of time taking each other for what appears to be Piggy back rides...

Ghey

NTTAWWT.

Not at all, not at all.
Bruce and Cyril are fearsome beasts.
If you even think about taking away their saucer of milk before they have finished they will give you a very nasty nip.

The ribbons are a nice touch.

I wasn’t envisaging that this would turn into a witch hunt (bitch hunt?), I was only really hoping for some thorough statistical analysis on elevated levels of homosexuality amongst Hawthorn supporters.

I love that movie.

Swans fan jelly cos not enough 48%ers in Sydney????

Would suggest Surry Hills or Paddington.
Just trying to set the record ‘straight’

Get with the times.

Even the Coalition have acknowledged that gay conversion therapy is wrong.
Is this topic too close to the bone for you?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Dear OP, nice thread.

On a serious note are you at all concerned that Bud and his Boy Friend Hanners NTTIAWWT, are having their annual holiday at the same time.

Also would you be at all surprised if this holiday stretches to 6 weeks. ;)

Oxford Street is actually a great place to pick up straight chicks. There's always a floating population of **** able chicks who are there as voyeurs, or with their mincing boy mates (they're SO much more fun than straight men!!!) or they want a night out without blokes trying to pick them up all night.

Certain stage of the evening with a few drinks in them, they often change their mind on the merits of jagging a stray root.

I’ve added a poll to determine which Hawthorn posters are gay so we can test the 48% hypothesis.

Please only respond if you support Hawthorn, to maintain the integrity of the poll.

Just double check for large hands, adams apples and suspicious bulges.

Hang on is there a mix up, I thought it was that 48% of Hawthorn supporters are more likely to consider supporting another club whether they are homosexual or not, they dont discriminate at Hwathorn.

In theory this idea could be a winner, one word of caution dont get to pissed, at least in straight bars your biggest risk is waking up next to a fat chick.

The *** hag factor. 'We don't want to be bothered by straight men', 'we go to gay clubs so we can dance and have fun'......4 drinks later......any dick will do.
