Yeah I wonder who thought to climb it to look for the boy. Surely he couldn't have been spotted from the ground? That's a tall tree![]()

Allegedly.A grey, wide brimmed hat was one item.
NopeDo we know what he was wearing when he disappeared?
Nope

We know what was claimed he was wearing. But have we learned anything from William Tyrrell? Just because something is said by a person claiming to have been the last one to see him, doesnāt automatically make it a fact with no other potential variables.Do we know what he was wearing when he disappeared?
Probably one of the reasons his Dad thought it was an unsafe place for his kids.I was wondering what that thing was, so it's a trommel. It's nasty.
Pretty dangerous i would think if a small child were to enter.
Is it big enough for a small child to enter?
AI says it is.
That would be a tragic accident.
Why was he allowed to play in that area, for 30 unsupervised minutes, by family narrative.
I'd be concerned with letting a 4 year old have freeplay on that property.
His playground is a nightmare.
Ahhh, remembering that trampoline for one

They sometimes attack in pairs or groups too.Hmmm, Forensic Science teaches us that everywhere you go you leave traces of being there. It could be as simple as a disturbed rock, broke twigs or branches etc... (things trackers look for)
Aside from one footprint that may or may not be related to Gus disappearing they have not found any trace of him. The only way that could happen is if he was taken by air. I have noticed posts stating that a wedge-tail eagle couldn't take him, they may want to do a net search on "wedgetail eagles hunt kangaroos" because a large wedgetail most certainly could take a child, especially if the child is on all fours looking like prey from above. Awful thought I know, but it is a possibility.
Failing that then human intervention is the most likely cause and statistics tell us it is more often than not caused by a family member.
Whether he is autistic or not, doesn't normally wander etc is irrelevant, he or anyone or thing involved would still leave traces behind, unless it never touched the ground.
Without further information I am leaning towards it never touching the ground.
Yeah that is true. They also will eat in groups taking turns between eating and standing watch. Could explain none seen in the sky...They sometimes attack in pairs or groups too.
Im not buying it either considering the tallest tree ever recorded in the world was only 116mThere's a story back in 1932 where a child was found 180m up a tree in an eagles nest, unhurt.
I'm not really buying it.
I thought the SES bloke went there days later.Wether he wandered off and fell prey to the conditions/dehydration or snake bite/animal attack, at some point scavengers will arrive on the scene and so I tend to believe the SES bloke who said he's not out there, above ground atleast.
I also doubt he went down a animal burrow/den/hole..
Guns?Has it been revealed what Gusās dads concerns were about the property that he didnāt want Gus staying there?
Me too - could have been weeks or days before ...depending on when the last independent witness sighted the child close-up. ? an accidentI got a feeling Gus had been gone long before that missing call was made that grandparent is sus as
Particularly autistic onesThey sometimes attack in pairs or groups too.
Yea an accident or a loss of temper old mate was quick to pull out the shotty for a female journoMe too - could have been weeks or days before ...depending on when the last independent witness sighted the child close-up. ? an accident
Do they have horses? If Jessica and Grandparent went to tend to the sheep, were they on bikes or in a vehicle?
It certainly looks like a trommel, or sieve.
The deep stoney excavation to the left and clean soil to the right certainly gives the impression that its purpose is to sieve for clean soil.
Quite likely used to help propogate the lush green grass.
Supervision?Guns?
Autistic birds?? What?Particularly autistic ones
Nothing to be confused about, much of that ground is very stoney at or just below the surface so the trommel would be used to separate the stone from the soil as clean soil would be valuable for gardens and lawn.Do they have horses?
Do they own a SSV, side by side vehicle?
![]()
Vehicle touted as safer than quad bikes now leading killer on farms
Newly released safety statistics show side-by-side vehicles were involved in 14 deaths on Australian farms in 2024 despite being fitted with seatbelts and rollover protection cages.www.abc.net.au
'New statistics from AgHealth Australia show accidents involving side-by-side vehicles (SSVs) contributed the most to reported deaths on farms nationally in 2024, despite being fitted with seatbelts and rollover protection cages.'
Going back to the trommel, and hoppers, and screens, and...
Confusing to me.
I watched a video to see what they do.
Video posted by Vo-Gus Prospecting.
Of all the names right?

Out on a private ML claim today with Mate Equipment. Got to run a prototype test trommel and see some very nice gold!www.facebook.com
You can use them to find gold and gems.
I wonder if the one on the property was used for this.
Did Gus watch when this was in use? Did they let Gus do some of the shovelling?
I mean it was in his playground area, and he had a SPADE. Maybe looking for treasure?
I'm just looking at possible dangers from the photos that we have seen.Nothing to be confused about, much of that ground is very stoney at or just below the surface so the trommel would be used to separate the stone from the soil as clean soil would be valuable for gardens and lawn.
I couldnt see any engine/motor on it so it could be hand turned.
I dont think it has any relevance to the case tbh.
