This might sound a bit off but if he's died and there's wedgetails out there, they will hang about the body. Rescuers are likely to see swooping and gathering around it. Same with crows.

I've seen wedgetails doing this in central north Queensland on roadkill, there one day when I've gone past and still there the next. I haven't seen them flying off with anything, if that doesn't mean they don't or they can't.

Which leads us back to if there isn’t a shred of evidence of human life anywhere on the property then he’s not there and if he’s not there and given it’s so remote and 6 gates in/out where is he?

Agree, they're not going to pick up a 4yo but if he's dead they will hang around where anybody from maybe even km away on flat ground, should be able to see there must be something there that's attracting the big birds.

Yes probably, I've seen a pig hunter's thermal drone used to find a couple of hot tyres that fell off a truck and went bush at 100kmph.

So even if they weren’t physically searched properly… they could have picked Gus up that night assuming the chopper hovered over that area first!

Ex ses volunteer has claimed in his experience the boy is not on the property. There are no birds of pretty around , no foxes to be heard. I believe this guy is a friend of the father who was asked to help find Gus. I don’t want it to be true but this case is starting to look more sinister than just a kid wandering off.

even though they’ve called off the search they still have police up there investigating. The lack of transparency from the parents and grandparents is also a concern. Not sure if true but there is supposedly mental health issues with one or both parents. Just like the Erin Patterson mushroom case there as some inconsistencies. If the public can see it then the police definitely can.

It’s not like a huge city with the potential of being taken. He’s on a remote property!

I feel like an accident had happened and they have panicked! I would truly hope this is not the case but I also hope that these resources haven’t been wasted bc of something more sinister

I hope they've taken the lessons from the failed William Tyrrell investigation, if the setting has obvious differences.

The house should be taped off and forensically examined, cars seized etc for the same forensic examination. It's simply being thorough.

There’s so much to this property, homes, sheds other items around.
This might sound silly but if he’s a minions fan they like to find hiding places.
Maybe this isn’t the case but I hope every nook and cranny has been searched.
