I respect your opinion. Josie might be a grieving Grandparent but I don’t agree there was no threat to the reporter. And she was not a threat to them.
What was the threat? A journalist whose voice was shaking with fear? Who had already told Shannon she was leaving?I respect your opinion. Josie might be a grieving Grandparent but I don’t agree there was no threat.

Bve death inbetween another distraction and with Santa leaving the North Pole shortly I’m afraid we are no nearer to knowing what’s happened to little GusThis cases gets worse on the nose as every day passes
The silence will only get more deafening in coming weeks Schoolies, into Xmas and new years
By Australia Day little Gus will just become another cold case sapol
Have failed at
Some good footage except for Jubelin.
And there’s a woman with a search dog, finally, mystery solved. Might have been only one but that’s better than none.

At this stage I think they should be doing all they can to verify exactly where and when Shannon (or anyone else) last saw Gus, and move forwards from there with any verifiable data. Also thoroughly search the immediate area for forensic evidence of a dead body (such as blood or cadaverine). It’s still possible that Shannon was the last person to see Gus. The police have so far searched within 12 kms of the property.
I wonder where they’ll search next.
Closer to home or further out?
I know what you mean. Would it be easy to check where everyone was if no one left the property re data?At this stage I think they should be doing all they can to verify exactly where and when Shannon (or anyone else) last saw Gus, and move forwards from there with any verifiable data. I imagine they will search structures, such as the old car yard? It’s still possible that Shannon was the last person to see Gus. The police have so far searched within 12 kms of the property.

That old car yard is definitely worth checking out.I imagine they will search structure such as the old car yard?
Just a guess but I truly am not sure.
Yeah well, as JFK said, "We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard; because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, ..."I know what you mean. Would it be easy to check where everyone was if no one left the property re data?
I’m thinking this might be hard for police.
Yeah I am stunned that they haven’t flown in a police cadaver dog or hired a private one to at least search the house, around the house, and all outbuildings and vehicles/ farm equipment on the property etc. Weird not to IMOOne search dog for a 67 square km search area?
No cadaver dogs (yet).
Ok I don’t think they have to go to the moon but I get your point.Yeah well, as JFK said, "We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard; because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, ..."
SAPOL say they are doing everything possible. IMO it's not enough to just do the easy stuff - they need to do the hard stuff as well. It might be unpleasant, and may not be successful, but they owe it to Gus to find out the truth.
Well one method might be to seperate the family members and give them an old fashioned 'grilling'. (Not a Jubelin-style fondue party!) Might seem harsh and unnecessary but who knows? Might reveal some previously ignored avenues of investigation. Maybe someone is hiding something?Ok I don’t think they have to go to the moon but I get your point.
I’m more asking is it possible to check data within the property?
Example
Could police establish that Josie and Jess were 10 kms away or would any data just show they were on or away from the property somewhere?
Sorry don’t know how else to explain.
Agree. And a long steel rake. The only reason the police defended Josie was to keep the family in the good books.
The reporter was leaving. Even if she wasn't Josie could have asked the police that where there do get her to leave it arrest her
Josie chose the reckless option. Who knows if it was any other day she could of gone completely off her rocker and actually aim and shoot. Tense situations and guns don't mix. Plus you don't kill a snake with a gun close to home. You just need a shovel.
Not really. That's the type of society Orwell wrote about in "Nineteen Eighty-Four". We're not quite there yet, but headed that way. I'd prefer we were headed towards a society of social justice and equality, where all 4YO boys are free to grow up to adulthood safely, and those that might harm them are swiftly brought to justice, and not protected by bureaucracy, power and privilege.Dont you just wish some one could type in the date time and address and get a satellite pic/video?
oooooh yes! Ive read that book. Not really. That's the type of society Orwell wrote about in "Nineteen Eighty-Four". We're not quite there yet, but headed that way. Now we all have lost the vigour and resolve to fight poor Gus has been failed by SAPOL and I must now say his familyBve death inbetween another distraction and with Santa leaving the North Pole shortly I’m afraid we are no nearer to knowing what’s happened to little Gus
