What's "out of the bag now".
Apart from somebody having a sex change there is nothing new in that story.
Utter trash and shouldn't even be posted here

There's no sex change mentioned in the story. Josie Murray, Gus's grandparent, is said to be transgender ie a biological male who identifies as female. Gus lived on the property with Josie, his grandmother Shannon Murray and his mother Jess.

The article claims Gus's father Josh doesn't live on the station because of clashes with Josie. 'Josh doesn't think it's safe for the kids to be out there, it's dangerous,' a family friend revealed.

Yes it is dangerous, placement next to the retaining wall is probably so the little fella can use the retaining wall to climb onto the trampoline easier.
Yes it would be so he could get on but there is no protection on the sides if he fell off or tried getting off. No safety net around it, springs exposed, dangerous gap where he could get wedged

Its like growing up in the 70s and 80s all over again. Fun times. Much better than sitting in front of the tv or on a phone.

Personally I'd be more worried about snakes and other wildlife than any of that.

The ground looks kind of loose-ish, not fully baked hard dirt, which is surprising they didn't find more tracks or partial tracks.
They haven't found clothes/hat/single boot

Definitely potential dangers there.
Why would the family say he was playing there though and lead police to focus on that area instead of saying something like he was around the corner playing on a pile of dirt?
Honestly, who knows.
Maybe telling some of the truth but not all of it.
It really could have been an accident.
If it was it reinforces what the dad said about it being unsafe. Thats if he meant the environment wasnt safe.
Did the Police look for signs around the trampoline? If it was a fall there would be no blood, also no footprints if he used the grassed section to get on the trampoline

Just like the good ole days. The soft fall and safety net are recent additions, believe it or not!
I know about the evolution of trampolines. Best thing when the safety nets and padding for the springs were introduced.
Used to have to dig into the ground to lower the height but a good bounce would land you on the grass. Thats why I love the new safety measures.
Probably why the position of the trampoline had my interest and concern

It’s not uncommon for family members to question/blame others when something happens to their child as it is to also question/blame yourself.

Could family have tried to contact Dad but he was not answering his phone for some reason. Maybe asleep or something? Why would police show up at Dad’s place to tell him?
Yep, when my Dad died, the cops came and woke me up after fam tried calling for two hours. happens a lot.

Kids were tougher then. Survival of the fittest!

Why wouldn't they?
If my son went missing I'd expect to be contacted as soon as possible, no matter where I was or what time of day. Especially if he was as young as Gus.

The article says it’s the first he heard of it not that no one had tried to contact him.

Neither did I say no one tried to contact him.
We don't know if they did or not.
We do know that reports say that police contacted him and informed him, as they should have.

Did they not say they ‘woke’ him up in the shit rag daily mail ?

Were they asked to got and make contact with him as they couldn’t?

Read my earlier post

Yes the article says police woke him up.
My two questions were eluding to that police might go there if no one could contact him.

Absolutely police would contact the Father.
The police would have to contact the dad, even just to make sure Gus wasn't with him to tick it off, and the Grandmas would have to contact the police that Gus was missing.
How else would you explain Gus's disappearance, especially to the dad, one that was concerned about the kid/s living there?

I'm going back to the trampoline, sorry.
I didn't realise how close the trampoline was to the driveway up to the front of the house. That is if what I can see in another image is right.
I think what if he got off/fell off if he saw a car coming towards him, coming home, maybe excited?
I'll leave it alone now

Edit. Hope they checked the ground underneath the trampoline, and was the trampoline always in that spot?
