The police would have to contact the dad, even just to make sure Gus wasn't with him to tick it off, and the Grandmas would have to contact the police that Gus was missing.
How else would you explain Gus's disappearance, especially to the dad, one that was concerned about the kid/s living there?

I'm going back to the trampoline, sorry.
I didn't realise how close the trampoline was to the driveway up to the front of the house. That is if what I can see in another image is right.
I think what if he got off/fell off if he saw a car coming towards him, coming home, maybe excited?
I'll leave it alone now

Edit. Hope they checked the ground underneath the trampoline, and was the trampoline always in that spot?
Just about the question if the trampoline was always in that spot. People who have frequented the property might be a good source of information. Mum and Dad (from the media) are still together. Did he still go to the property?

Not going to be able to do that without a visit to the lands title office and then you’d need the ownership details.
I highly doubt there would be electric fences for a sheep station… I’ve never heard of sheep needing such things

I’ve never mentioned electric fences, what are you on about???

Yep when they say it’s dangerous there , what is it exactly he is alluding to?

If it’s that remote and there are 6 gates in and out why’s it so dangerous ?
Maybe if something happens, it takes a while to get help and if you are there by yourself and injured it's dangerous?

I thought it was interesting that the police statement said something to the effect, that they have determined he is "not on the property". That sounds to me as if either they think he got a lot further than the boundary of the property, or IMO more likely, he was taken.
I wonder if there are any old ruins/huts inside the boundary of neighboring properties?

Agree, if they have determined he is "not on the property", maybe they know something we dont, as that is a pretty strong comment.

And there's no proof Gus was there either.
Yes, it could have been days, weeks or even months since he was sighted by non family. Pity there wasn't a photo of him playing the mound of soil that day. I wonder if Gus did online Kindy with other children who live on remote properties. A school of the air teacher sighting would help the timeline. If there were workers on the property maybe they recall when they last saw little Gus. I wonder if Gus did regular facetime with Dad. Timeline is the key just ask Agatha Christie.

Hopefully Dad can verify a timeline shorter than months if Mum and Dad are together and he’s only a 2 hour drive or phone call away but who knows.

Would all have been searched we have to believe the police and ses aren’t that incompetent to not check these things.

Just saw on Facebook a women claiming to have seen Gus with a man in Norwood at a cafe but police won’t take her seriously.
Well Norwood is 320km by car from Yunta and takes about 3 hrs, 34 minutes.

Lots of talk in SM wondering if Gus was even there, or alive, on the day.
Also maybe he was wearing a nappy.
Did police look for evidence from the start to confirm the family's story?
Was thinking they could have checked the bin for nappies but Gus's siblings definitely would be wearing them as well but I would think in a different size???

Did police look at possible foul play as soon as they arrived?
Or are they still going straight to ONLY searching?
And then having to backtrack when the search fails and any/all evidence maybe being tainted or removed.
Have they made any changes in the search for missing children since 2014?

Feels like the same question i have had with William Tyrrell's disappearance.
If there was an accident, and the family are covering it up, WHY?
What would they have to lose by lying?

Has anyone heard if his Mum was on the property at the time? His Mum seems to have a real low profile in this with the grandma first checking on him and then calling the police?

Experienced ses line walkers, trackers and sapol have all been on record saying there would be signs if it was an animal and birds of prey around the carcass
Unless it was taken far away?
