Oliver is still good at football thoughAnd Oliver had what 6 more years?
we don't have to nor should we play either. people get weirdly upset about tsatas being given a game (it's not weird they see the beautiful stats). he offers the team nothing that we need. my view is that at this stage we just wait til sharp, durham, and robey can take the keys to the midfield. let parish wear the beatings that will ensue. tsatas playing or not playing makes nought of a difference. i was one of the very few who never rated parish even in his supposedly good year.Currently that's what we're doing, just replace the name Tsatas with Parish. If you've got to play one of them, which we do, I'd take the kid who might not make it but is at least having a dip rather than the checked out 30 year old who had one good season 5 years ago. If they both get moved on at the end of the year, who cares?

no i'm fairly convinced there's no upside to either.Doesn’t matter if it’s Parish or Tsatsas wearing the beatings if you’re not sold on either. At least one has upside

Well see next year once Tom Green is back, i don't think you have both the way football is going.Oliver is still good at football though
He doesn’t have physically or aggression. He has no chance of being a good defender, you also need good running power which is also does not possessDisagree.
Because at least Tsatsas has the physical tools to be a good defender in a better side. Can’t say the same of others

The drawbacks to Tsatas' game are known by all, including myself. My thoughts on him are no secret. Personally I'd rather the team reward players who are trying with matches rather than continue to play witches hats on long contracts. That way when Brad gets on his soapbox about "living the AFL lifestyle", the team selection would align with the messaging.we don't have to nor should we play either. people get weirdly upset about tsatas being given a game (it's not weird they see the beautiful stats). he offers the team nothing that we need. my view is that at this stage we just wait til sharp, durham, and robey can take the keys to the midfield. let parish wear the beatings that will ensue. tsatas playing or not playing makes nought of a difference. i was one of the very few who never rated parish even in his supposedly good year.
Agreed. But apparently Scott thinks Tsatas has an attitude issue and a few claim he’s a bit hard to deal with. How true that is… not sure.. but my info came from a staff member.Of the two, it's Tsatas who has worked hard to improve and found improvement. It coukd be that this continues.
Parish is a known output. Why do we bother?
Better we play Tsatas at the top level and see what else he might bring. At least we will know what we're disposing of and his trade value might be somewhat preserved.
Tsatas really doesn’t come across as that type. I’d be shocked if this was true.Agreed. But apparently Scott thinks Tsatas has an attitude issue and a few claim he’s a bit hard to deal with. How true that is… not sure.. but my info came from a staff member.
Tsatas has averaged 33 touches and a clearance machine since 2024 in the VFL.
In round 2 last year he had 25 touches, 12 clearances in only 57% game time in the AFL then didn’t get a game the following week. Parish out most of last year. Should’ve played Tsatas every chance in his role last year.
There’s a toxic part of me that wants him to leave Essendon and play well for a team that gives him a clearly defined role like Dambrosio and Voss have.
Wow what? Now there’s a scoop!I know that Collingwood have as much as assured him a list spot for next year.
Voss is still shit, he’s just a sideshow potato. He messed up 80% of the time he went near it the other nightThere’s a toxic part of me that wants him to leave Essendon and play well for a team that gives him a clearly defined role like Dambrosio and Voss have.
It would be just our style to see him go to Collingwood and thrive.I know that Collingwood have as much as assured him a list spot for next year.
You had me a sideshow potatoVoss is still shit, he’s just a sideshow potato. He messed up 80% of the time he went near it the other night
Massimo was dumb though, I watched him play at the G when we beat Sydney, his kicking out of the back half drove a number of our attacking plays, I was filthy when they dropped him then let him go.Voss is still shit, he’s just a sideshow potato. He messed up 80% of the time he went near it the other night
There is no trade value.Surely even if they don’t rate him they could be exposing him enough to build trade value
Getting hard to see how he doesn’t get a chance with Caldwell, Parish and Merrett being embarrassed in the middle each week. I didn’t believe it for a while, now I think there must be something Scott hates about him.Tsatas really doesn’t come across as that type. I’d be shocked if this was true.

sure you'll think that for his first 20 games or so, and then you might wonder why our midfield is getting crushed every week, and then you might think who's playing in that midfield, and then you might think why did we bother playing mids who lack fundamentals like competitiveness and physicality, and then you might think geez why did we waste all this time on tsatas. i've seen this episode before.
