I'm not so sure. I think he may have stagnated or even be going backwards. I counted several times where he didn't mark the ball at its highest point

Unfortunately Daniher wont be in the AFL anytime soon. Due to his past injury problems and his 1st season in the VFL/AFL ranks, I'd be surprised if he plays before round 10.

Had a good chat with Andrew Welsh regarding this, he also thinks Round 10 would be around the time Bombers may start to blood him in the seniors.

he really should. I've said time and time again the Bellchambers/Hille ruck combo option is the worst one we could go with. Assuming Hurley is out, i'm just not sure which one of Gumby/Joey to use as 2nd ruck.

One more 'good' game in the VFL should be enough for Joe to debut against the Giants.

I think the only change will be Crameri in for Hurley. Joe Daniher will have to wait and lets remember he's an 18 year old key forward. We don't necessarily want him getting battered all year. Even if he is in our best 22 come finals time (which will be highly arguable given the strength of our talls right now) we have plenty of time to get say 5 games into him before finals time and at least he won't be on his last legs. Personally reckon Joe is one to get excited for the future but this year he may have to wait a while to make his mark.

Don't mind him sitting out of the seniors for a while. The last thing we want is for him to turn into a spoiled brat like Jack Reiwolt. Make him earn his spot, until he can out muscle Carlisle at training or something he should stay in the VFL.
