Enough of this hype over Judd v Cousins, two players who are well past their prime.

The media has hyped it up to the max and 90,000 suckers are turning up.

It'd be like Hogan v Flair being the main event at Wrestlemania 25, sure they may be greats of their sport, but really its 10 years too late.

Why just about everyone but Hawks fans know which way that game will go and it aint gunna be much fun for you champ.

More than happy to win the ones that matter.

Whilst it would be good to get off to a great start, the first round is just the first round. We have 22 Rounds + Finals (hopefully) to get our shit together.

Just remember, round 17 last year had no bearing on the GF for Geelong. Let them have their glory now, we'll wait for September.

Rick Flair was never really one of the greats for me, to get me along it would have to be more like Hulk Hogan v Randy "Macho Man" Savage, or The Ultimate Warrior v anybody.

Complete non-event when promoted that way. Cousins is a useless hack who thrives on easy possesions and Judd is not far behind.

Hulk Hogan v Andre the Giant was the best wrestling bout ever!

I also liked the antics of George the Animal. Do you think those pads were strawberry flavoured?

I was going to put up the clip of Kamahl promoting the wrestling with him doing the Rick Flair woooooooo, its a crackup. Unfortunately I can't find it anywhere.

i'd also add in the Mankind vs Rock "I quit match" from that time.

i'd like to see THAT recreated tonite :D

I'd pay to see Cuzzzzz & Chr$$ do that.

Not much of the pro wrestling these days touches this stuff

Mankind V Undertaker Hell In A Cell Match 98....

Brutal :thumbsu:

But HH vs AtG is old school guys. Keep this new stuff to yourself. Back when they were still one of the two WWF's in existence. Bloody charities getting all antsy about their name!

You'd think with all his antics with the padding that there'd have been something done to make them palatable. What was George's manager's name?

Those are real metal chairs they're using there folks!

George didn't really have a manager, more a trainer.

EDIT: Just checked up George's website. Captain Lou Albano was the man, great earrings.

Something else I didn't know, The Animal suffered from Crohn's disease, the same as Scott Thornton. Funny, George didn't seem to have any trouble bulking up, must have been the turnbuckles. We should get Scottie onto that.

Shawn Michael vs Razor ramon in the ladder matches at WM 10? or Maybe 11 and Summerlam the same year, also Shawn vs Kurt Angle a few WM ago are my favourite techincal matches.. For a great show I love The Rock vs Hogan at WM XVIII
