Unfortunately i can tell that young leroy is injured because the spark that we had in the opening rounds doesnt appear to be there at the moment and i think alot of that has to do with jetta's forward line pressure.

Interestingly, some North Melbourne people are suggesting tagging Davey. Surely their efforts would be of better use to stopping Stanton, McVeigh, JJ, McPhee, Fletcher, Lucas, just to name a few! Rather an interesting tactic i think, Davey must have had a bigger impact on opposition supporters than he has had on Essendo supporters, or atleast me.

I'm sorry but you're incorrect.
Selwood hasn't held his place in the team every week and is relying on one outstanding performances. His overall performances haven't warranted him a guaranteed position.
Hawkins has played 3 pretty good games but for influence I wouldn't have rated them up with Davey's best 3.
Gibbs has been solid, but hasn't warranted a Rising Star Nomination and hasn't been anywhere near the agmebreaker Davey has been.
And if you've missed them, then obviously they haven't generated anywhere near the massive media hype of Davey. Why? Because their performances haven't been on a par.
Take nothing away from Selwood, Hawkins and Gibbs because they look like fine young players, but they're not producing week-in week-out good performances of Davey and not having in the impact in games either.

No way. Lucas came back into it late, but Gibson held his own once again. Davey gives you everything he can possibly do 100% of the time...Id have some hard earned on him to be leading right now.
i thought towards the end he stopped on a few chases, but not out of effort, but his engine was completely gone. Love his pace, skills, and freakish ability, if I had one criticism so far this year is that he goes to ground far to often, if he gets it into his head that unless his tackle is a real beauty he has to keep running with the player, a few times the kangaroos player handballed it as being tackled and kept his feet then received back while davey was on the floor. Again though I think he was a steal, love to have him over here.
