a funny thing happen to me today

i was at my wednesday job, here in dc area at the air and space museum, when meet someone who lives in melbourne australia. when i asked him what his favorite footy team was, he said, North Melbourne. i was very happy to find out and i told him that i was a fan (showed him my membership card). he said he know people who belong to this board. his name is peter (i believe is owen or rowland). he remembers the roosistence and i heard of lidge. told him of the fairfax kangaroos too. also met some crows fans too. what a small world.

It is a small world. The two countries are fairly close culturally, and with plenty of people travelling both ways, it's not unexpected I suppose.
