Yeah, that list of names inspires fear and worry.Good list of the usual suspects who have mankind's best interest at heart.
Nick Cave spells it out.
"It can never be rolled back,or slowed down,
as it moves us towards a utopian future,
maybe,or our total destruction."
Not too worried.Yeah, that list of names inspires fear and worry.
Yeah i dont use Dalle 2 stable diffusion 1.5 and im a total noobI must ve doing it wrong tho, when I ask for stuff from Dall-e-2 i get shitty 16-bit like images. But they are amazing when they turn out good.
it totally goes against my beliefs but at the same time it s mind blowingWas also reading up on OpenAI projects on wikipedia....not only do they have AI language (chatgpt) and text to image, but also image to text, as well as multiple music creation, singing creation AI, as well as video gaming AI that compete in Dota-2 esports with a win percentage of 99.4....theres an array of stuff going on
With Elon Musk at heart you have to wonder. He's stated or admitted there's a big risk to humanity with AI, yet goes ahead with advancing AI. As well as his belief and push for humans to evolve into part cyborg ("we already are there as the smart phone is an extension of us, not a device"). I can see the benefit of stuff like a chip in the human brain to bring sight back to the blind, to cure Alzheimer's etc, but you always know we'll end up with draconian Robocops, thought police, more control by TPTB etcit totally goes against my beliefs but at the same time it s mind blowing
