Hello dear people of Sweet,

I have exciting news from the slopes of Mount Buller. Since our season ended the Demons have been doing what they do once qooty is done. Whether that be overseas holidays, playing video games, reading books by the fire or other activities that I can't think of right now, we've all been busy.

Headless and I have been particularly busy with going for long walks. They are quite time consuming, these walks, and did I mention long? I believe I did, but I digress, these walks are also quite lovely and nice, the fresh air of Mount Buller, the views looking out over the land of sweet.

I mean just look at this picture from a recent walk

Just beautiful, and great cardio as well!

It's amazing what happens on these walks, we talk of many things, of shoes and ships and sealing wax. Of cabbages and kings, and why the sea is boiling hot, and whether pigs have wings (I think they do and are very sneaky, Less is unsure)

On our most recent walk while discussing the aerodynamics and physics of possible porcine flight we came across a small box. It was brown and box shaped of course, and there was a little bow on top which was a little lopsided but quite decorative.

I looked at Less and asked him if we should open the box, he pondered this for a minute and then slowly nodded, at least I think he nodded, its hard to tell sometimes with Headless


So I opened the box, and do you know what was inside the box reader? Of course not, I haven't told you yet, silly me.

Inside the box was the most amazing thing, both Less and I were quite amazed, I know because he turned to me and he said "That's amazing Gralin" and I replied "It is amazing isn't it Less"

So we stood there for a bit, amazed by the contents of the box, eventually we decided we should take what was in the box out of the box and show it to manangatang

Well, as you can imagine, mang was also quite amazed by what was in the box, though as is mang's won't it was a rather reserved amazement, but we could tell from the look in his eyes

So now the three of us were walking and talking about this amazing item we had found in the box on the side of Mount Buller, and we were trying to decide what to do with it. It was very exciting readers, so exciting that we had to stop off for a nice warm cup of tea and a biscuit, so we headed to the house of our dear friend Wosh to do just that (and maybe get a slice of lemon cake)

Once we had gotten comfy with our tea and biscuits and cake we showed Wosh what we had found. Wosh was also amazed by what had been in the box and was now in her living room.

Headless explained how we had walked and talked and tried to decide what to do with this thing we had found, but we hadn't been able to decide. Wosh had a sip of tea and considered this, then she said "I know what to do"

I was very relieved by this, it had been quite a lot of pressure after all. So I asked Wosh "What do we do?"

And Wosh smiled and said "We return it to it's owner"

Well, you can imagine the smiles and laughter after that so I don't need to describe them in any detail at all.

So we finished our tea, and biscuits, and cake, and the four of us got up and took the item to return it to its owner.

This happily meant another long walk which the four of us took together.


I won't bore you with details of the walk beyond saying the discussion around flying pigs was quite robust.

Finally we arrived at the door of the house of the owner of the item that had amazed as all.

I looked at my friends and then knocked on the door.

"Just a minute" a muffled voice called out from inside, we heard some shuffling and then the sound of someone approaching the door.

Finally the door was opened.

"Oh hello" said Scythe

He invited us all in for a cup of tea and scones. He did look at the box with the bow on it, but like a good host didn't bring it up until we did.

We chatted for a bit about the weather which had been quite outside all things considered.

Eventually I passed the box to him and explained how we'd found it on the side of Mount Buller and decided it would be best to return it to him.

He looked puzzled and opened the box. Then, yep, you guessed it, amazement. I don't think I've seen anyone look quite as amazed as Scythe did then.

You could really see it in the eyes I think

Eventually Scythe took the item that belonged to him out of the box and held it up.

"So that's what happened to it" he said, I've been looking for this since the end of Season 38!

And then he put it on, his Guernsey with the #12 on it and smiled.

and then I walked outside to announce this amazing news to everyone I saw on the street
