In the Wiz i'd like to see the new game plan utilised, if it comes off all well and good but i won't mind if it is a bit scratchy in parts, as long there is a plan there and it does have some semblance of worth. Come the season proper i don't care how we win, a wins a win and when you follow the tiges, well that doesn't happen often enough!!!!
Unlike last year where the plan was to get smashed after the first quarter and sit there and do nothing!!!!
A win is a better effort! Looking forward to pace and skill and moving the ball quickly up the middle. From a selfish point of view the more they win the more we see them in a competitive match situation. Would like to see some of the kids, who might not play during the real thing such as Polo, Meyer or Mcguane get a few minutes so Tiges should not be hung up about win at all costs. Senior players such as Richo, Campbell and Coughlan should also be rested, at least in the first game.
all i hope for is quick exciting football and quick delivery into the forward line. if i see a good indication of this i think 2005 could be a good year for us
I hope we win, because the better efforts would come anyway as long as we get it right for round 1 of the proper season. I'd rather see us playing wizard cup for money and boosting membership, instead of playing practice games in the desert
