Also predicting that Doc will step down over summer and let Cripps.captain in his own right.

Yep heard that and thought the same thing....reckon he made an attempt to justify by saying younger stars (exempting Ablett) should remain at franchise clubs. Absolute tool I can’t stand. Look forward to them crashing out of the finals.

Strong team. Feel like Cripps will make this team several more times before he's done, possibly as Captain. Can't wait until Weiters, Harry or Charlie are legitimately in the convo.

Fyfe as Captain is fine. He's a megastar, carrying a lousy team for years. Good reward for his all-round awesomeness.

There's always hard-luck stories. All in all, it's a pretty kick-ass team.

Looking at the stats for the year it's interesting to note that those who (just) pipped him for total clearances etc, like Neale, played at least 2 more games than him.

Considering that, and the fact he had a couple notable ultra quieter games by his standards, shows what a monster he is.
