Devise an All Australian team for this year consisting of players just from bottom 8 sides.
Here's my quick draft of a team, I'm sure I've missed some obvious selections.

FB: Graham Johncock - James Frawley - Luke McPharlin

CHB: Rob Murphy - Nathan Bock - Brett Deledio

C: Ryan Griffen - Scott Thompson - Daniel Wells

CHF: Dustin Martin - Matthew Pavlich - Nathan Fyfe

FF: Daniel Giansiracusa - Jack Riewoldt - Drew Petrie

FOL: Todd Goldstein - Matthew Boyd (vc) - Gary Ablett (c)

INT: Matthew Leuenberger - Brent Harvey - Andrew Swallow - Simon Black


Unlucky: Trent Cotchin, Travis Boak, Dale Morris, Tom Rockliff, Jack Redden, Brent Moloney

That's pretty much on the mark I reckon - maybe I would replace Johncock with Morris, swap Swallow and Wells, and squeeze Harvey on to the forward line in place of Gia to make room for Moloney. I think Cotch has had a slightly better year than Martin, but given team balance Martin is probably the right choice.

Top 8 team would be favourites I think, but bottom 8 team could win on their day.

Pretty good team. I'd switch Rockliff and Gia, and Moloney with Black.
 
Looking at that side youd love to see a Bottom 9 v Top 8 match
Dont know why most would assume Top 8 would win.
The cream from each team is usually even.
Its whats below that decides how good you are and if you finish 3rd or 11th

Could be alot of changes, just thought this at the top of my head

Guys like J.Brown , D.Merrett haven't been put in the team due to missing a chuck of the season

forgot about cambell brown, chuck him in somewhere

yeh i think gunston is a good forward, will be good in a few years

who else would you put as forward pocket? i was thinking john butcher but he didnt play enough games

You would switch a guy who kicked 45 goals for the year, for a guy who kicked 12, in the FP? No.
