Despite us making the finals and the chance of finishing as high as 5th after the H&A season,I can,t see any of our players getting AA Honours.
Jackson and Morris may get nominations but thats about it.
Good signs i guess as it means its been a team performance throughout the year.

Rance, Houli, Morris, Cotchin, Martin, Jackson and even JR8 are in the running for nominations.

Whether any of them make the final cut, only time will tell.

Rance had a deplorable first 7 or so rounds. His first good game was against the Bombers from memory. That will hurt him.

Cotchin, no, had an off year. Deledio no, too much bad press unfortunately. Martin maybe.

The guy I would have without a shadow of a doubt is Bachar Houli. He deserves it and would be a great story.

Edit: Jack doesn't make it even when he wins the Coleman.

His game against Port was good - though Port were horrible that day and rarely put him under any real pressure.

AA is a lot about hype, and our hyped players aren't having great years. However, we've got players who on performance should be AA - in particular Morris & Houli, who have been as good or better than all other players in their positions.

No-one will make the 22 and I don't think anyone deserves to.

The only possibility I could possibly see would be if (and it is a massive IF) they decided to include a lock down small defender in which case Morris would get a look in. We all know that wont happen though.

Rance, Martin and Houli all chances for the 40 though. I wish I could say Jackson as well, but he won't get a look in for a mid spot.

Not a bad thing, shows were not relying on stars. He won't get in but I'd have Rance in. His last month in particular has been outstanding...

Look if the club's truly serious about having at least one representative in the AA team, then it's just another reason why The Beanie needs to play before the finals. :thumbsu:

I reckon Rance turned it around against the cats in round 6. Since then has been very good and brilliant in some games

Bachar Houli should be All Australian. Compares favourably with Hibberd as a rebounding defender, but is better one on one, defensively, than what Hibberd is.

Rance may have had a bad couple of games at the start of the season, but what about the so called lock, Carlisle? Been towelled up the last month. If Rances first few games count against him, surely Carlisle's do too.

Most overrated honour in football I reckon. As Spluff said, it's all about hype. Doubt we'll have any picked. Who cares?

Rance, Jackson, Martin, Riewoldt and possibly Cotchin if he dominates in the remaining games.
