Ablett and his scoring!!

Was just wondering on ablett and his official stats especially from the weekend. He was listed as having only 1 free kick against him.

However 3 passages of play come to mind for me.

1. He kicked the ball out of bounds on the full having a snap shot at goal. Im not 100% but I gather that's a free kick against??

2. He was caught holding the ball in Geelongs forward pocket, which again I gather is a free kick against??

3. Gave away a 50m penalty for being within 5m (the protected area) of a carlton player taking there kick.

I may be wrong here but I would assume these are free kicks against and a free kick for whoever Ablett infringed on in these cases or do these merely just go down as clangers??

My point is obviously these would influence his SC score and he wouldnt have scored 170 odd if I may be correct?

Surely 1. is a FA? Why wouldn't it be?

Never mentions a FA.

Maybe due to the confusion on who to award the FF to, if it was recorded that way. The Player who gets the kick, or the Player who was the direct opponent of the Clanger Kick. Or closest to the clanger when it happened ....

Yeah makes sense I guess. I always assumed it was whoever took the kick in got the FF, but I guess they don't always deserve it

And the clanger kick is worth -8 points, a free kick against would only be -6 so it is the heavier punishment
