I love him but gee Eddie craps me to tears when he misses from 30 out. I was so annoyed (for a few minutes anyway) on Friday night that I decided to look at goal to behind accuracy (excluding OOBOFs) this year with some surprising results:

100% - Bower, Fisher, Grigg, Thornton and White

(OK, this isnt a serious stat as Thornton has kicked the most goals of this group with 4)

Then it goes

79% - Houlihan BIG TICK
77% - Robinson (People seem to say he's not a good kick but i think he's a ripper)
73% - Waite ????

And then in the 60's are

Betts - 60%
Garlett - 64%
Henderson - 65%
Joseph - 67% (2 goals from 3 shots)
Judd - 63%
Murph - 65%
o'hailpin - 63%
Yarran - 63%

Worst are Carrazzo with 4 goals from 11 shots, Hammer with 6 from 13 shots and Simpson with 14 from 29 shots.

We have improved a heck of a lot in this area but we really had to as it was one of our weakest areas. Guys like Fevola, Fisher, Wiggins and Russell not being up forward who were known for kicking lots of behinds has a bit to do with it.

Betts always seems to miss those ones from 30 metres out on a slight angle.

That game against Brisbane early on this year was almost only because of kiciking from set shots...
