I wasnt there on the night, but have been told of the winners, so all those who didnt attend can find out.

1st XVIII: 1st.M.Barlow - Far and away best player, avgd 30+touches all year, just a ball magnet, could easily play VFL but wants to play in the GVFL. Got 38 touches in a senior GVFL game this yr, Imagine what he will be like at 22 or 23.
2nd.M.Webb - Great leader, so much time, heading to VFL nxt yr. Will do big things at either local level or VFL. Has his own GPS during games, can just slip through gaps that arnt even there.
3rd.Jessie Silver - Leading Goal kicker, also heading to VFL. To small for VFL but will be prominent goal kicker in local comps for over a decade. Has the brain and the nack for goals will do big things.

2nd XVIII: 1st.C.Barr - Unlucky in selection. Fantastic Tap ruckman, pushed forward during games, powerful, gamebreaker. Prominent in Metro leagues. 2nd in goalkicking. Been offered trial at Claremont Colts in WAFL
2nd.T.Flanagan - Nuggety midfielder, will develop to be a great country footballer. Buckets of Courage. Will play for Tatura in future.

3rd XVIII: 1st.T.Jones - Tall prospect will need work over the summer to push for 1's. Still another year though to prove himself.

Graham only played 4 games for the season. and then the grand final. he polled 30ish votes, winner won with 50+ webb 2nd with 44, if Graham had of played he may have won, but Mick Barlow played better than Graham when Graham did play. Imo Mick Barlow > Graham, is just that graham happends to be 200cm and 95kg's, he can influence the game more.

Barr, unluck for selection, are u joking. the kid is a hack. He was luck to get his 1 game. And powerful gamebreaker, What the. i watched at least 4 of the 2nds games and he struggled to mark the ball. T Harrison is a better ruckman and player, if only the coach would have known what he was doin the bf would have goin to either Harrison, hill or flanagan. not Barr, and if a WAFL team is after him they can have him, he is usless

If Hill had of played the whole season in the 2's he would've won it hands down, but Carrol sat him on the bench for 3-4 games during the season. Harrison, Flanagan and Barr were all unlucky in selection, seeing that almost half the 2nd's side played 1st XVIII during the year, yet the three best players in the side didnt get 1 game for the entire season. Barr isnt useless, or else he wouldnt have even been considered for the 2nd ruck spot in the 1's, Scandleton got the nod, and it prooved the right decision. Flanagan had a good year, as did Harrison, im guessing Harrison would've came third. What about Joey Cantone in your infinite wisdom Brick? 4 of the seconds games sounds like you may have been a prominent figure on Saunders bench, am i correct?

nar ur not right. scandleton got the nod cause barr played 1 game and was terrible.
the 1st played most of the year with 1 ruckman coz ang was at cannons, they didnt play another ruckman because barr cant play and harrison wasnt strong enough.
cantone had a huge year, good player with the best attitude goin round.

No doubt about Joeys attitude there, Ballsy i found to be the unluckiest guy on the planet. Correction, Barr didnt play a 1's game. If he had of and played terrible, we wouldnt be having this argument, id agree with you, just seemed very stiff i think not to even get a chance. As with harrison and flanagan, seeing players such as Dundan, McKenzie, Davis, Williams got games. I think the entire yr 12 two's contingent were unlucky in all their dealings. Hill, Barlow, Rae, Tampion were all stuffed around with, Ball and O'Connell were given there chances, but it took way to long.

he'd fit in there.. if he wants to further his junior development, west, sturt, centrals or port are the way to go

bulldog is 20 next year. cant see him as a junior unless there is an under21s or something
