Thanks. Does this have anything to do with killing pop ups or is it a different thing to that ?

No, as Coxy said, it merely removes spyware.

If you want to rid yourself of pop ups, get 'pop-up stopper'.

make sure you update the signature files regularly with it too....

it's like a virus checker in that it needs the most up to date "definitions" to run the most effectively

good little program though!! it's scary sometimes seeing how much junk is deposited on your computer that you don't know about!!!

You need to run it manually.

Open the program, then click on "Scan Now".

No it's free, but you need to download an update program called RefUpdate
