Not sure where to put this but we’ve restructured our coaching group.

Adam Kingsley is going to be our midfield, stoppages coach, Leppa has gone back to the backline (inb4 our backline is unstoppable again), McQualter is our forwards coach and Caracella is our offensive coach.

Plus the three vfl coaches, there’s an article up on the Richmond website.

I don't find Caracella offensive.

That’s just the thing, for example when mark williams joined, that was an exciting appointment to have a premiership coach join the team.

The difference here is Kingsley comes from a dud team and I have no great reason to be excited about him joining our team. I’m not disappointed either this is just my outside view, he could turn out beig great for us. Same thoughts were with McQualter, turned out great but I wasn’t excited by his appointment. Excited might be the wrong word but you should still get what I’m trying to say.

Good appointment.
The Club has essentially had 1 bad day/night in 18 months - so I'm pretty sure we'll be making the right moves.

Other than being at Coilingwood for a while, Balmey doesn't get much wrong at all.

I grew up with Mini and he’s got an amazing footy brain. I personally was stoked when he lobbed at the Tiges a few years back and his influence on the midfield group and younger guys is no surprise to me at all.

Dusty is a massive fan of Mini and I have no doubt Mini will be another assistant in the Caracalla mould.

He’s also best mates with BJ Goddard so would be interesting to see if BJ lobs up somewhere down the track in a coaching role.
