I have just been reading there board and they think they have it won. They're are saying I cant think of 1 reason why we won't win. Its quite funny reading how arrogant those bastards are. Personally I think it's a 50 50 game

Wondering if I should take the risk and go under 39.5 just to make a little bit more, or back us straight out.

If it wouldnt hurt so much to do i would chuck 50 bucks on you guys because i reckon its very much a 50/50 game yet you guys are paying 2.20. Not very often you see the majority of both sides supporters so very confident of getting a win. Will be an awesome match i reckon.

We played them a few weeks ago and lost. We played Collingwood recently and lost. We played St Kilda recently and lost. We played the Bulldogs, Saints and Geelong earlier in the season and lost all of them too.

But we're going to win on Saturday night because we fell over the line against the Magpies in Round 1 right?! Those other six results don't count nearly as much as that Round 1 result do they?

If we've assembled and grown a squad capable of knocking over top four sides then why haven't we?


Well what am I tipping with then?

Not the head or the heart... what's left? Perhaps I'm sexually aroused by them. There is no 'objective evidence' that Adelaide will win. Everything points to a Collingwood victory. Collingwood will win for the same reasons they beat us at home a few weeks ago.

They are less likely to get stage fright in front of 70-80,000 rabid fans.

They have a history of winning finals even against more fanced opposition (not grand finals though ). Whereas we have a reputation of losing finals even against less fancied opposition.

We've lost 6 of our last 7 away finals.

The teams that lose the qualifying finals always win the semis. Always.

Davis, Didak, Anthony, Fraser, Lockyer, Thomas and Medhurst were all dreadful last week. And there is a 0% chance that they will be as poor again. These players were absolutely woeful and yet they still only lost to St Kilda by 4-5 goals.

Presti will be able to take care of Tippett.

Swan will have a field day.

Didak will run amok.

Dawes always kicks goals against us

We have no match up for Anthony.

Our game style is fantastic to watch but relies on time and space so that we can run, link up and look pretty. Time and space will be in short supply. Carlton and Essendon haven't exactly prepared us for what we will face Saturday.

Plus they'll have Mick pulling the strings.

I bet that:
- our banner rips in the wind,
- we give away at least one free kick in the first quarter for running into the centre square too early,
- one of our players slips over at the first contest,
- we miss our first set shot for goal,
- the phone in the coaches box stops working at some stage
You know... all the stuff that happens in these sort of games.

As it has been said itsa 50/50 game and it's also why both supporters feel confident about the game which makes it really exciting and also without the aarogant build up it would make the final less exciting. I for one can't wait and it will be a cracking win.

Also with teams in a 50/50 game you are always going to feel confident about your side because you watch them play more and know what they are capable of.

I also beleive whoever wins has a great oppurtunity of knocking Geelong off as whoever wins will be feeling good after winning a tough match and it always seems that having the week of can be a bad thing sometimes because you lose a little bit of momentum and form but lets focus on that next week whoever wins.
