What a sad story to read…Adelaide should be utterly ashamed…what an embarrassment..

the worst part is the amount of their supporters who continued to abuse and shame sam maclure for his reporting. Did a superb job.

Be interesting to read and hear what their supporters have to say now about the whole story

The fact they took psychological information gathered in the pretense of a confidential one-on-one counselling session and used it so dishonestly, cruelly and publicly is so outrageously far from any normal standard of what is ethically appropriate.

Absolutely disgusting.

After the Crows lost successive games in the 2017 season, Betts says the training group reviewed game videos and claimed they had identified where the playing squad had lost these games. At fault was the way players had run through the supporters’ banner onto the ground, they said.

“Apparently, our facial expressions weren’t up to game mode,” Betts writes. The playing group was made to practise their facial expressions, he says.

How much did the Crows pay these bastards again?

How’s this from club legend and club director Mark Ricciuto at the time…actually incredible…yet eddie somehow ends up losing his spot in the leadership group

Completely shithouse. I mean that is the sort of thing that can cause mental injuries. It's so flagrantly wrong and stupid. I mean I can understand there are degrees of "toughening people up" that everyone sees differently, but this is completely ****ed.

If a player did have ongoing mental issues from this and decided to sue for damages they'd have a strong case on that alone I recon.

Hahaha...

“Then we started an exercise that consisted of role-playing our responses to our partners … One of the responses suggested to us was, ‘I feel like a better father and husband, having come from this camp.’”

Nek minnit...

“I 100 per cent game back from that camp feeling like a better husband, a better son and a much better teammate than when I was before I left for that camp. .....” Sloane said.

Someone was drinking the Kool-Aid.

Nevermind Worksafe SA found no wrongdoing, legal action taken by the company was successful this is just an opinion-based exercise. Leaks to the media line up pretty well with the book excerpts. Hm.
The newspapers decided is was fiscally prudent not to defend the legal action. It in no way proved what the papers said was not true And factual .

Talk about flogging a dead horse. This is almost worse than Port Power wanting to wear Collingwoods colours.
It's new information.

If you are uncomfortable reading about it then don't read it.

This is much worse. Defecating on aboriginal culture and all the other random weird crap. At least Port's is simply over colours.

Gotta lol that this is still up, yet Caro and McClure's report had to be taken down and apologised for when all of what Eddie says basically confirms their story.
Enjoy it while it lasts.

Interesting that none of their indigenous players were interviewed in that vid.

I still don't understand how there were no consequences for the camp co-ordinators using what was supposed to be confidential information from a counselling session.

If they werent qualified and nothing was signed then they probably werent under any obligation to keep anything confidential.

'Bring It On' had a Spirit Stick. Native Americans had/have talking sticks. So too Maoris, as well as tribes in Africa. Maybe they defecated on them all.

Or maybe its just a stupid gimmick used by clowns which usually works on rich, dumb white people. Tex and Sloane seemed to love it.

Can’t deny the Crows played great Footy in 2017 and obviously Collective Minds was a decent part of that. But then it turned into a car crash after the camp.
And they have never recovered.

The fact they were not qualified to be playing such mind games and understanding the implications of what they were doing is disgusting .
Next time, I see a proper psychologist, you know, the ones with tertiary parchments on their walls and, heaven forbid, an actual registration, I’ll put to him/her some of these ‘mind toughening’ activities and ask them to implement them. The reply will be worth the consultation fee….
